Here’s a look at four WPIAL football players to watch for Week 6:

Nate Alberts

Elizabeth Forward, Sr, WR

Alberts (6-2, 186) caught four passes for 105 yards and a touchdown as Elizabeth Forward improved to 5-0 with a win over No. 3 Derry last week. The No. 2 Warriors face another test this week against No. 4 North Catholic.

Ethan Moore

Quaker Valley, Sr., QB/DB

Moore (6-0, 175) tied Quaker Valley’s single-game yardage record with 411 after he threw for 205 and ran for 206 in a win over Keystone Oaks last week. The Quakers head to Waynesburg for a Class 3A Tri-County West contest on Friday.

Parrish Parker

West Mifflin, Sr., RB/DB

After a 303-yard, four-touchdown rushing performance last week in a win over Laurel Highlands, what will Parker (5-11, 190) do for an encore this week against Greensburg Salem? The Howard recruit has run for 862 yards on 101 carries and scored 13 times this season.

Jason Sweeney

Upper St. Clair, Sr., QB

Class 5A No. 5 Upper St. Clair heads to Class 6A No. 5 Mt. Lebanon on Friday with hopes of adding a marquee nonconference win to a 5-1 record. Sweeney (6-2, 180) has thrown for 815 yards and nine touchdowns, including 232 yards and a score in last week’s win over Fox Chapel.

Here’s a look at players to watch for Westmoreland County and the A-K Valley .
