Seneca Valley boys edge Canon-McMillan in WPIAL semifinals

AJ Mills’ goal with less than seven minutes to play sent the Seneca Valley boys soccer to the WPIAL championship game, where they will try and win their first title.

The score gave the top-seeded Raiders a 3-2 win over No. 4 Canon-McMillan (16-3) in the Class AAAA semifinals Monday night at Mars Athletic Complex.

Tanner Howard and Jackson Wotus also scored for Seneca Valley (16-2-1).

The Raiders will play No. 2 Norwin (17-2-1) in the championship match Thursday, Friday or Saturday at Highmark Stadium.

Tommy Samosky and Austin McColpin scored for the Big Macs.
