Isiah Bauman
Freeport, Jr., WR/DB
The Yellowjackets’ offensive and defensive standout hopes to make an impact Friday against North Catholic. Last week against Derry, Bauman caught a team-best five passes for 41 yards and added 10 tackles, tied for the team lead, and an interception. He made 52 tackles last year as a sophomore.
Johnny Crise
Highlands, Jr., WR/CB
At 6-foot-7, Crise is hard to hide on a football field, but after last Friday’s performance against Keystone Oaks, everyone will make sure they locate the Golden Rams receiver. Crise set school single-game receiving records with 10 catches for 301 yards and five touchdowns in a 49-42 loss. One of the TD catches from quarterback Seth Cohen went for 99 yards.
Aris Hasley
Deer Lakes, Jr., QB/FS
Hasley showed his stuff against Uniontown despite the loss in the conference opener. He completed 10 passes for 103 yards, including four for 67 yards to Jared Colton. The junior signal-caller also tallied both Deer Lakes touchdowns with scoring runs of 5 and 12 yards. The Lancers will face Elizabeth Forward on Friday.
Logan Harmon
Apollo-Ridge, So., RB/LB
Harmon had a nose for the football in the Vikings’ 21-0 victory against Summit Academy last Saturday. He scooped up a fumble for a touchdown and added a second fumble recovery late in the contest to halt a Summit scoring threat as Apollo-Ridge bounced back from a season-opening loss to Leechburg. Harmon finished Saturday’s victory with 11 tackles, second on the team to Alex Gamble’s 12.
