Throw-ins: A spot in the PIAA playoffs is on the line. Kovalcik scored 11 goals in the regular season to lead the Rebels. Jack Billick, Nick Cherry and James Farnan were All-WPIAL selections. … Jason Ireland led the Bucs with 16 goals in the regular season. He was joined by Luke Guerrini, Billy Kowalkowski and Cam Wagner on the All-WPIAL team.

Throw-ins: The winner qualifies for the PIAA playoffs. … Both teams have short weeks to prepare because they both played semifinal games Monday night. … … Franklin Regional gets coach Lukas Petersen back after he sat out the semifinal with a one-game suspension because of a pair of yellow cards in the previous game. Petersen plans to resign after the season. … Camp and Andrew Prunier are prime scoring threats for Montour. … The teams have been in a combined 19 one-goal games. … Montour upset Franklin Regional in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs last year. … Montour hasn’t made the PIAA playoffs since 2017.
