Could Chartiers Valley boys basketball coach Tim McConnell, who coached sons T.J. and Matty to WPIAL championships, celebrated another title this winter with daughter Megan?

The Chartiers Valley school board will vote Tuesday night whether to accept the school administration's recommendation and make McConnell the school's girls basketball coach. McConnell is the coaching candidate in line for the vacancy, according to the Chartiers Valley school board agenda .

McConnell has a 552-146 career record and six WPIAL titles in 25 seasons with the boys team. T.J. McConnell, a 2010 graduate, now plays for the Philadelphia 76ers. Matty McConnell, a 2015 grad, plays for Robert Morris.

Megan McConnell is a junior at Chartiers Valley and one of the top players for a Colts team that reached the WPIAL Class 5A semifinals and the PIAA first round last season.
