Advance tickets sales for Jeannette Jayhawks state championship game in Hershey; pep rally Tuesday

Advance tickets for the Jeannette Jayhawks’ appearance in the state championship game Thursday will be on sale Monday evening.
The ticket booth at McKee Stadium will be open from 6-7 p.m. Monday. Adult tickets cost $8 and student tickets are $4.
Jeannette will play the Homer-Center Wildcats at 1 p.m. Thursday for the Class A title at Hersheypark Stadium.
A portion of the proceeds for advance sale tickets is returned to the school district. All tickets at the gate will cost $8, and the district does not receive any cut.
A pep rally open to the public will be held at the junior-senior high school gym at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Players from the 2007 team are invited to the rally, which will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their state championship title.
Jeannette defeated Farrell 17-6 on Friday to make it to the state championship game.
Advance tickets also will be sold at the pep rally.
