Aliquippa’s Zuriah Fisher became the second WPIAL junior with a Penn State football offer when the Nittany Lions joined his scholarship list Saturday.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker announced his offer on Twitter.

He joins Mars lineman Michael Carmody as the only WPIAL recruits in the 2020 class with a Penn State offer. Fisher’s came three days after Pitt offered him a scholarship and it pushed his Power 5 options to six.

Fisher also lists Boston College, Indiana, Minnesota and Syracuse, among others. He has more than a dozen FBS offers in all.

Rivals.com ranks him as a three-star recruit and the eighth-best prospect in Pennsylvania in his class.

Fisher was Aliquippa’s second-leading tackler last fall when the Quips won the state Class 3A title.
