Backed by strong defensive line play and a quick start, No. 4-seeded Imani Christian upended top-seeded California, 30-24, Friday night at Peters Township.

■ STEEL VALLEY 13, RIVERSIDE 10 (OT)
Trey Kartfelt found a leaping Amonte Strothers in the end zone for a 10-yard touchdown in overtime to seal a victory over No. 4 Riverside.

■ WASHINGTON 19, CARDINAL WUERL NORTH CATHOLIC 14
Washington endured an interception, three lost fumbles, a defensive touchdown and a blocked punt on consecutive possessions in the second half of a tight semifinal to come away with a victory against CWNC.
