Annalyse Bauer joins Latrobe girls soccer’s pipeline to Division I programs

Latrobe junior Annalyse Bauer has played in various U.S. cities in travel soccer and internationally for a club showcase.
The standout midfielder/forward will be on the move again in the future. She is heading west to play in college.
Bauer announced she has made a verbal commitment to Eastern Michigan of the Mid-American Conference.

Playing at the NCAA Division-I level has been high on her priority list.
“It has always been a goal of mine and something I have been working towards,” Bauer said.
Bauer, a Riverhounds Academy ECNL player, has 27 goals and eight assists this season. Sh has numerous multiple-goal games.
She scored four and handed out two assists in a 10-0 win over Hempfield.
That followed a three-goal, two-assist performance in the Wildcats’ 11-2 victory against Armstrong.
The speedster also had a hat trick in a 7-0 shutout of Woodland Hills.
“I really enjoyed the school and the coaches, and the team was awesome,” Bauer said of EMU. “I felt like it was a good fit for me and decided to commit.”
Bauer also showed interest in Cincinnati, Boston University, West Virginia and American and also had interest from Robert Morris and Indiana State.
Bauer is the seventh player from the Latrobe program to commit to a Division I program in the last three years.
She joins Sofia DeCerb (James Madison), Ella Bulava (Maryland), Regan Reilly (Bowling Green), Maddie Petruzzi (Valparaiso), Robin Reilly (West Virginia) and Ava Yurko (Youngstown State).
“This group has played together since a young age, and it has always been something we’ve looked forward to once we got to high school,” Bauer said. “It is a great group of girls with lots of talent.”
For her career, Bauer has 54 goals and 18 assists.
