There were big changes to the weekly Trib HSSN PIAA baseball rankings with 10 teams falling out of the Top 5 from a week ago.
The biggest change came in Class 3A where four teams had rough weeks and were bumped out of our pre-holiday rankings.
The WPIAL had one team ousted in Class 2A, Neshannock, but three district teams joined the statewide limelight this week — Bethel Park in 6A, Serra Catholic in 2A and California in A are now ranked among the best in the state.
All of the top-ranked teams remain intact with one big exception. Three losses dropped the top-ranked team in Class 6A from No. 1 to completely out of the Top 5.
