Central Catholic junior Elliot Donald posted a favorites list this week that included all three area colleges and some of the top programs nationally.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound defensive lineman posted a Top 8 that listed Pitt, Penn State and West Virginia, along with LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas A&M.
He has nearly 20 offers and noted that his recruitment is still open.
Rivals rates him as a four-star recruit and ranks him as the state’s fourth-best prospect overall in the 2021 class.
His uncle is NFL star Aaron Donald, who played at Penn Hills and Pitt.
I’d like to thank all of the schools who recruited me and helped make my childhood dream into a reality. With that being said I’d like to drop my TOP 8 schools. My recruitment is still open!!! #HardWorkPaysOff @210ths pic.twitter.com/kwyWj2c5Ap
