Central Catholic defensive end A.J. Beatty announced his first SEC offer Saturday, adding to a growing list that already includes ACC, Big 10 and Big 12 schools.
Beatty received a South Carolina offer during a visit to Columbia for the Gamecocks’ spring game.
The 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive end now has three dozen Division 1 offers including Power 5 schools Pitt, West Virginia, Boston College, Indiana, Purdue, Rutgers and Syracuse.
Rivals.com rates Beatty as a three-star recruit and ranks him seventh overall among Pennsylvania prospects in the 2020 class.
