City League semifinals roundup: Allderdice boys return to championship game

The Allderdice boys basketball team earned a return trip to the City League championship game with a 60-44 victory over Obama Academy in a semifinal contest Tuesday.
Bobby Clifford had 20 points and Jackson Blaufeld added 17 for the Dragons (21-2), who have won four straight City championships.
DJ Gordon scored 16 points for Obama Academy (8-15).
Westinghouse 51, Carrick 49 (OT) — James Ellis had 20 points, 20 rebounds and seven blocks to lift Westinghouse (16-5) to a semifinal victory.
Cam Glosten had 11 points for the Bulldogs, who will face Allderdice at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Petersen Events Center.
Daysean Woodson scored 12 points for Carrick (18-5).
Girls basketball
Allderdice 79, Carrick 33 — Emma Waite had 22 points, and Sophia North and Brooklyn Jones added 19 apiece to lift Allderdice (14-9) to a victory in the City League semifinals.
Kelly Denk had 15 points for Carrick (7-15).
Westinghouse 44, Obama Academy 33 — Westinghouse earned a spot in the City League championship game with a semifinal win over Obama Academy (16-6), which had won four straight City titles. Chyna Simpson had 11 points for the Bulldogs (13-6), who will play Allderdice at noon Saturday at the Petersen Events Center.
