Fox Chapel draws top seed in WPIAL tennis playoffs

Fox Chapel will go for a WPIAL tennis four-peat from the top line of the Class AAA tennis bracket.

The three-time defending WPIAL Class AAA champion Foxes drew the top seed in the playoffs and will host Latrobe in the first round at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Shady Side Academy, which lost to Fox Chapel in the 2018 title match, drew the No. 2 seed and will host Pine-Richland at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Class AA bracket will be announced Wednesday, with first-round matches taking place Thursday.
