Franklin Regional athletes earn postseason honors

Several Franklin Regional football players earned all-conference postseason honors for the 2017 season.
First-team selections for the Class 5A Big East Conference included senior tight end Jacob Shedd, senior receiver Nathan Leopold and senior linebacker Bryce Lauer.
Senior running back Stephen Johns, senior kicker Domenick DiFalco, sophomore linebacker Justin Johns and junior defensive back Devon Powell were second-team picks.
Sophomore tackle C.J. Ciercierski, senior tackle Matt Helsley, junior quarterback Adam Rudzinski, senior defensive ends Justin Moser and William Wallace, senior linebacker Hunter Stonecheck, junior linebacker Jack Poling and senior defensive back Blaze O'Block were honorable mention selections.
Boys soccer
Forward Domenick DiFalco, midfielders Auston Kranick and Shane Popko, defender Jake Trapanotto and keeper Jeremy Lucas were first-team all-section selections for Franklin Regional boys soccer. Rand Hudson was the Section 4-AAAA Coach of the Year.
Midfielder Zach Guidry and defender Kylen Cook were second-team selections.
Girls volleyball
Franklin Regional setter Julia Petrucci was a second-team all-section selection, and hitter Rachel Reppermund was honorable mention.
