Gateway bowlers set for regionals

The Gateway boys and girls bowling teams will be well-represented at the Western Regionals, which are set for Friday and Saturday at Princess Lanes in Whitehall.

Both teams qualified, as did several bowlers for the individual competition.

The group includes Julie Conley, Marissa Maciejewski, Chryeis Smith, Tiffani Wilkerson, Steven Churilla, Robert Jackson, Joey Kalinowski and Tony Manso.

The boys team finished second in its division and went 8-2. The Gators placed 12 at the WPIBL championship. The girls were undefeated in section play and placed eighth at WPIBLs.
