Four Greensburg Salem athletes recently signed letters-of-intent , and two were to Division-I universities.
Senior Cameron Binda will continue his track and cross country career at Duquesne, and Mark Brown will head to Youngstown State to run track and cross country.
Brown edged Cam Binda to win the WPIAL Class AA individual title, and they helped lead the Golden Lions to the team title.
Dylan Binda, Cameron’s twin brother, was part of the WPIAL and PIAA Class AA cross country championship team. He signed with Division II Edinboro to continue his track career.
Jack Oberdorf is staying close. He has decided to join Marc Marizzaldi’s Seton Hill baseball team, one of the top Division II programs in the country. Oberdorf helped the Golden Lions reach the WPIAL semifinals, hitting .364 with 10 doubles, 18 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
