Winning pitcher Tristin Weimann struck out eight in six shutout innings and drove in the only run of the game to lead North Hills to a 1-0 victory over Central Catholic in Section 1-6A baseball Wednesday.

Christian Cordeiro went 2 for 2 and Ryan Tatar struck out eight for the Vikings (4-3, 2-3). Austin Ellis earned a save for North Hills (3-7, 1-4).

Armstrong 13, Penn Hills 1 – Garrett Brumbaugh went 2 for 2 with a pair of RBI, winning pitcher Brayden Wright drove in two runs and Kaden Rupp plated a run as Armstrong (4-5, 3-3) beat Penn Hills (0-9, 0-6) in Section 1-5A.

Avonworth 15, South Allegheny 4 – Mason Metz homered twice and drove in three runs, Cooper Scharding doubled, homered and knocked in three, and Michael Libbon drove in four runs to lead Avonworth (9-1, 4-0) to a Section 2-3A win. Koltin Keener drove in a pair of runs for South Allegheny (2-6, 1-3). Winning pitcher Carson Franc finished with three RBIs for the Antelopes.

Baldwin 24, McKeesport 0 – Winning pitcher Tyler Dingus struck out nine in a four-inning no-hitter while Nick Berg doubled twice and drove in three runs and Trey Alario and Matt Musial each knocked in two runs as Baldwin (3-4, 2-2) rolled past McKeesport (0-9, 0-4) in Section 4-5A.

Belle Vernon 12, Laurel Highlands 4; Belle Vernon 9, Laurel Highlands 2 – Belle Vernon (7-0, 6-0) swept Laurel Highlands (1-5, 0-4) in a Section 2-4A doubleheader. In Game 1, Lucas Judy and Kole Doppelheuer each knocked in three runs while Parker Lind picked up a win for the Leopards. Parker Hoff doubled for the Mustangs.

In Game 2, Seth Tomalski doubled and drove in three runs and Judy struck out six in a complete game while going 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI for the Leopards. Brody Kutchman doubled and knocked in a run for the Mustangs.

California 10, Beth-Center 6 – Winning pitcher Weston Monticelli went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and Logan Hartley and Kaden Weston each drove in two runs to power California (3-3, 3-0) to a Section 1-2A victory. Chase Bebout knocked in two runs for Beth-Center (2-4, 1-4).

Canon-McMillan 4, Norwin 3 – Winning pitcher Sebastian Shulsky struck out 10 in 6⅓ innings while Alexander Shank went 2 for 2 with a home run and three RBIs as Canon-McMillan (8-1, 4-0) scored the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh on a balk to edge out Norwin (3-6, 1-3) in Section 2-6A. Trevor Vitsas finished with three RBIs for the Knights.

Carrick 5, Brashear 4 – Blake Andrews slashed a walk-off single and finished the day with two RBIs to lift Carrick (4-3, 3-0) past Brashear (1-3, 0-3) in City League play. Dominic Sarokon went 3 for 4 with two RBIs for the Bulls. Riley Mares got the win for the Raiders.

Carmichaels 3, Jeannette 0 – Winning pitcher Colin Andrews struck out eight in six shutout innings and went 2 for 4 at the plate with a double while Dillon Fisher doubled and drove in a run as Carmichaels (5-2, 4-1) defeated Jeannette (2-4, 0-2) in Section 1-A. Noah Rattigan went 2 for 2 with a double for the Jayhawks. Robbie Wilson-Jones earned the save for the Mighty Mikes.

Chartiers Valley 11, Peters Township 5 – Michael Switala doubled and brought in four runs, Jared Pryor doubled and Jake Federouch got the win as Chartiers Valley (5-6, 2-4) used a six-run sixth inning to pull away from Peters Township (6-2, 2-2) in Section 2-5A. Matthew Scouvart doubled and knocked in three runs for Peters.

Bentworth 6, Chartiers-Houston 3; Chartiers-Houston 18, Bentworth 8 – Bentworth (2-5, 2-4) and Chartiers-Houston (4-3, 2-3) split a Section 1-2A doubleheader. In the first game, Paul Williamson and Julius Livingston each drove in four runs, Aaron Walsh doubled and knocked in three while Brady Robaugh picked up a win for the Buccaneers. Lucas Burt had two RBIs for the Bearcats.

In Game 2, Burt homered, tripled and drove in a pair of runs while winning pitcher Sam Wade struck out nine and knocked in two runs for the Bearcats. Livingston finished with two hits and two RBI for the Buccaneers.

Derry 7, Valley 1 – Winning pitcher Cason Long doubled, homered and brought home three runs to power Derry (3-2, 2-0) to a Section 3-4A win. Dante Taliani knocked in a run for Valley (5-5, 0-4).

Eden Christian 8, Bishop Canevin 2 – Winning pitcher Brady Hull doubled, homered and drove in three runs and Luke Burford doubled and finished with a pair of RBIs to lead Class A No. 1 Eden Christian (7-2, 4-2) to a Section 3-A win. Aaryn Edwards doubled for Bishop Canevin (5-3, 5-1).

Fort Cherry 13, Frazier 4 – Tyler Wolfe went 3 for 4 with a home run and five RBIs and winning pitcher Colton Temple went 4 for 5 with a homer, a double and three RBIs for Fort Cherry (4-4, 4-1) in Section 1-2A. Tyler Morrison went 3 for 4 and drove in a run for Frazier (4-3, 1-2).

Freedom 15, Neshannock 13 – Zach Kuntz drove in three runs, Boden Hilliard and Mason O’Donnell each doubled and knocked in a pair of runs while Anthony Taddeo got the win as Freedom (4-4, 3-2) outslugged Neshannock (5-2, 2-2) in Section 2-2A. Ryan Cameron doubled twice and plated three runs for the Lancers.

Freeport 14, Ligonier Valley 2 – Luke Whitfield homered and drove in two runs, Gage Blystone doubled and knocked in four runs and Kason Barker finished with three RBIs as Freeport (4-4, 2-2) beat Ligonier Valley (1-6, 0-3) in Section 3-3A. Gavin Moore drove in a run for the Rams.

Hampton 3, Ambridge 2 – Ryan Scully slapped a walk-off double in the ninth inning and finished the day with two RBIs while Zach Virbitsky got the win as Hampton (1-7, 1-5) edged out Ambridge (5-4, 3-3) in Section 1-4A. Brady Smith doubled twice and Virbitsky drove in a run for the Talbots. Jonathan Janicki doubled and knocked in a run for the Bridgers.

Highlands 4, Knoch 1 – Troy Bielak knocked in a run, Carson McGraw doubled and Kristian Kocon picked up a win as Highlands (5-3, 1-3) defeated Knoch (6-5, 2-2) in Section 3-4A.

Indiana 6, Elizabeth Forward 1 – Winning pitcher Sullivan VanHoose struck out four in four shutout innings and had a triple and two RBIs as Indiana (7-0) beat Elizabeth Forward (6-2) in nonsection play. Cy Herchelroath drove in the Warriors’ only run.

Jefferson-Morgan 3, Avella 0 – Brayden Ellsworth drove in two runs and winning pitcher Drew Adams struck out three in seven shutout innings as Jefferson-Morgan (3-3, 2-3) blanked Avella (8-1, 4-1) in Section 1-A. Logan Fedak had two hits for the Eagles.

Keystone Oaks 10, Carlynton 0 – Ian Bickel drove in a pair of runs and winning pitcher Nathan Rohe allowed one hit and struck out eight in five scoreless innings as Keystone Oaks (4-4) shut out Carlynton (2-7) in nonsection play. Connor Hart had the only hit for the Cougars.

McGuffey 5, Charleroi 4 – Wyatt Hildreth knocked in two runs and Brogan Meighen picked up a win as McGuffey (6-3, 3-1) survived a late Charleroi (4-3, 3-2) rally in Section 4-3A. Brock Henderson doubled and drove in a run for the Cougars.

Montour 4, Gateway 1 – Caleb Armbruster doubled and drove in two runs, winning pitcher Michael Ivanoff struck out seven in four innings and Olliver Wovchko struck out seven in three innings to earn the save for Montour (3-4, 2-2) in Section 4-5A. Roman Jennings doubled for Gateway (5-3, 2-2).

North Allegheny 2, Butler 1 – Mason Smith drove in a run and Nate Surman got the win as North Allegheny (4-2, 2-0) pulled out a win against Butler (6-2, 3-2) in Section 1-6A.

OLSH 5, Brentwood 0; OLSH 12, Brentwood 3 – OLSH (6-4, 4-0) swept Brentwood (1-6, 1-4) in a Section 3-2A doubleheader. In the first game, winning pitcher Iseia Schulz gave up one hit and struck out 14 in 5⅓ innings and Sean Hudac doubled twice and knocked in two runs for the Chargers. Blaize Diaz had a hit for the Spartans.

In Game 2, Gino Williams went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double and six RBIs, Schulz doubled twice, homered and knocked in a run, Hudac finished with two RBIs and Thomas Medwig got the win for the Chargers. Michael Satler doubled for the Spartans.

Penn-Trafford 5, Plum 2 – Ethan Septak had a hit and two RBIs while Zach Feldman got the win as Penn-Trafford (6-4, 4-2) bested Plum (7-2, 3-1) in Section 1-5A. Jake Domkowski doubled for the Mustangs.

Pine-Richland 10, Allderdice 0 – Winning pitcher Drew Boivin struck out 12 in six innings to lead Pine-Richland (8-1, 4-1) to a Section 3-5A win. Thomas Kapanowski doubled and drove in three runs and Gavin Stugart doubled and knocked in a pair for the Rams. Brendan Stecik had the only hit for Allderdice (3-2, 1-2).

Quaker Valley 12, Beaver Falls 0 – Todd Kagle doubled and plated two runs, Henry Zupanc went 3 for 3 with a triple and an RBI and Kolton Johnson also had an RBI as Quaker Valley (6-2, 2-1) shut out Beaver Falls (1-4, 0-2) in Section 1-3A. Jack Cindrich got the win for the Quakers.

Ringgold 11, Albert Gallatin 0; Ringgold 10, Albert Gallatin 0 – Ringgold (4-6, 3-3) swept Albert Gallatin (2-5, 2-4) in a Section 2-4A doubleheader. In the first game, Ashton Mincin struck out five while tossing a five-inning perfect game, James Nash doubled and knocked in three runs and Sam Allen had two hits and a pair of RBIs for the Rams.

In the second game, Gavin Angotti doubled twice and drove in three runs, Demetri Lowe singled, doubled and knocked in a run and Andrew Sprinkle had a double and two RBIs for Ringgold. Anthony Koziel gave up one hit in 4⅔ scoreless innings. Luke Wilson had the hit for the Mustangs.

Riverside 8, Mohawk 2 – Winning pitcher Christian Lucarelli gave up one unearned run and struck out 15 in six innings and helped his own cause with a solo home run to power Riverside (6-1, 2-1) to a Section 1-3A win. Sean Hayes doubled and drove in two runs for the Panthers. Vinny Pezzuolo doubled and knocked in a run for Mohawk (2-3, 1-1).

Seneca Valley 6, Moon 3 – Wes Conville doubled and knocked in two runs, Brandon Godleski doubled and had an RBI while Andrew Malichky got the win as Seneca Valley (5-3) defeated Moon (2-5) in nine innings in nonsection play. Andrew Cross went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Tigers.

Seton LaSalle 3, Brownsville 1; Seton LaSalle 6, Brownsville 1 – Seton LaSalle (5-3, 4-1) swept Brownsville (2-4, 2-4) in a Section 4-3A doubleheader. In Game 1, winning pitcher Anthony LoCastro threw a complete game, allowing one run on five hits with 12 strikeouts, while Ryan Kerr drove in a run for the Rebels. Jeremiah McDonald had an RBI for the Falcons.

In Game 2, winning pitcher Mike Cejrowski gave up one run on four hits and fanned 11 in a complete game while Dominic Breisinger doubled and drove in two runs for the Rebels. Geno Thorpe went 2 for 2 with an RBI for the Falcons.

Anthony Barron doubled for Northgate (2-5, 0-3).

Sewickley Academy 15, Monessen 0 – Billy Pietragallo homered and knocked in three runs and winning pitcher Austin Fritz went 2 for 3 with an RBI as Sewickley Academy (1-5, 1-2) rolled to a Section 3-A win. R.J. DiEugenio had the only hit for Monessen (0-9, 0-5).

South Fayette 9, Bethel Park 2; Bethel Park 5, South Fayette 4 – South Fayette (7-3, 4-2) and Bethel Park (7-3, 4-2) split a Section 2-5A doubleheader. In Game 1, Cody Bungert, Bo Stover and Chaz Kosko each drove in two runs as Connor Rynn got the win for the Lions. Noah LeJeune went 2 for 4 with an RBI for the Black Hawks.

In the second game, LeJeune homered and knocked in two runs, while Mike Bruckner and Jack Bruckner each drove in a run and Dylan Paul earned the win for the Black Hawks. Trey Skeen doubled and knocked in a run for the Lions.

South Park 5, Shady Side Academy 4 – Winning pitcher Robert Lenzi struck out 10 while doubling and driving in a run as South Park (6-0, 4-0) beat Shady Side Academy (2-8, 1-3) in Section 2-3A. Ryan Spitznagel doubled and hit a solo home run for the Eagles. Brady Trischler drove in a run for the Bulldogs.

South Side 16, Springdale 1; South Side 15, Springdale 1 – South Side (6-2, 4-0) swept Springdale (2-4, 1-4) in a Section 3-2A doubleheader. In the first game, Andrew Madeja doubled and knocked in a pair of runs and winning pitcher Carter Wilson and Ryan Shaw each plated a run for the Rams. Joey Loebig knocked in a run for the Dynamos.

In Game 2, Wilson had three RBIs, Andrew Corfield drove in a pair of runs and R.J. Fischer got the win for the Rams. Alex Wylly went 2 for 3 for the Dynamos.

Steel Valley 13, East Allegheny 1 – Adam Keesecker went 2 for 4 with four RBIs, Logan Thomas collected two hits and three RBIs and Daevon Gaynor went 4 for 5 with a double and drove in two to lead Steel Valley (4-4, 2-2) to a Section 2-3A win over East Allegheny (0-7, 0-4). Thomas Jefferson 2, Connellsville 0 – Winning pitcher Dominic Metz gave up three hits and struck out seven in 5⅔ shutout innings while Carter Kirsch and Tyler Lesko each drove in a run to lead Thomas Jefferson (5-4, 3-0) to a Section 4-5A. Noah Zawisian went 2 for 3 for Connellsville (6-2, 2-1). Colin Pearson earned the save for the Jaguars.

Union 9, Rochester 7; Rochester 16, Union 1 – Union (3-4, 3-3) and Rochester (4-3, 3-3) split a Section 2-A doubleheader. In the first game, Colton Cox went 3 for 4 with two RBIs, Swayzee Reighert and Maddox Ryhal each drove in a run while Jalen Peace got the win for the Scotties. Max Lyons and Keegan Currie drove in two runs apiece for the Rams.

In Game 2, Logan Lyons doubled and knocked in four runs, Keegan Currie went 2 for 2 with three RBIs and Justin Schurr got the win for the Rams.

Upper St. Clair 6, Trinity 2 – Tanner Schroeck knocked in two runs, Nico D’Orazio tallied two hits and an RBI and Maximillian Dietrick got the win as Upper St. Clair (6-3, 2-2) defeated Trinity (3-5, 2-4) in Section 2-5A. Owen Samogala collected two hits for the Hillers.

Waynesburg 6, Washington 2 – Derek Turcheck doubled and drove in two runs, Jarrett Tretinik collected two hits and two RBIs and winning pitcher Austin Surber struck out 10 as Waynesburg (8-0, 4-0) beat Washington (1-9, 0-6) in Section 4-3A. Noah Patton went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Prexies.

West Greene 11, Mapletown 2; West Greene 14, Mapletown 0 – West Greene (3-6, 2-2) swept Mapletown (1-8, 0-6) in a Section 1-A doubleheader. In Game 1, winning pitcher Lane Allison gave up two runs on three hits and struck out 10 in 6⅓ innings while also doubling and driving in a run to lead the Pioneers. Daniel Fox had a pair of RBIs for the Maples. Logan Shields went 3 for 4 with a pair of RBIs for West Greene.

In Game 2, winning pitcher Hayden Hamilton gave up three hits and fanned 13 in five shutout innings while Shields doubled and knocked in three runs for the Pioneers. Fox doubled for the Maples.

Yough 8, Southmoreland 1; Yough 6, Southmoreland 2 – Yough (2-4, 2-2) swept Southmoreland (1-8, 0-6) in a Section 3-3A doubleheader. In Game 1, winning pitcher Nate Bell struck out 10, Gabe Shakoske doubled and knocked in two runs and Raidon Kuroda and Jayden Huber tacked on two RBIs apiece for the Cougars. Brenden Geho doubled and drove in a run for the Scotties.

In the second game, Bell went 3 for 4 with three RBIs, Kuroda knocked in a pair of runs and Jake Williams struck out five to earn a win for the Cougars. Brenden Geho and Jake Govern each doubled and brought home a run for the Scotties.

Apollo-Ridge 14, Northgate 1 – Jocelyn Snyder went 4 for 4 with a double, home run and three RBIs, Madison Butler hit two triples and Olivia Saxion tripled to lead Apollo-Ridge (7-1, 2-0) to a Section 2-2A win. Bayleigh Hooper hit a single for Northgate (6-2, 1-1).

Armstrong 16, Gateway 1 – Lily Gutherie went 3 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs and Sydney Krukar had a home run and four RBIs to lead Armstrong (7-3, 3-2) to a Section 2-5A win over Gateway (3-4, 0-4).

Belle Vernon 7, Laurel Highlands 6 – Kaylee Sypolt hit a double and Sydney Callaway and Mailey Hayes drove in two runs apiece to lead Belle Vernon (4-5, 2-1) to a Section 2-4A win. Payton Senge and Aubrey Speelman homered for Laurel Highlands (3-4, 2-1).

Bentworth 12, California 1 – Sydney Gonglik had two triples and four RBIs and Zoie McDonald, Kayla O’Dell and Nora Lindley doubled for Bentworth (4-3, 1-0) in a Section 4-2A win over California (2-4, 0-2).

Bethel Park 9, Albert Gallatin 0 – Sia Spano hit two doubles and drove in two runs and Madison Timms doubled and knocked in two runs for Bethel Park (6-0, 2-0) in a Section 4-5A win. Mikayla Shea hit a single for Albert Gallatin (2-4, 0-3).

Bishop Canevin 17, Rochester 4 – Winning pitcher Macie McClain struck out 14 and allowed three hits in five innings for Bishop Canevin (2-4, 1-2) in a Section 1-A win. McClain had a single, home run and three RBIs, Alexis Summers went 3 for 3 with two RBIs and Bella Lane tripled for the Crusaders. Knoch 16, Indiana 1 – Emersyn Jones went 3 for 3 with two doubles, a home run and three RBIs, Carissa Tekely had a home run and three RBIs and McKenna Brailey doubled to lead Knoch (7-1, 3-0) to a Section 1-4A win. Kylee Cass hit a home run for Indiana (1-8, 0-3).

Laurel 15, Aliquippa 0 – Lexi Krol went 3 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs and Maddie Evans and Hailey Fell hit two doubles apiece for Laurel (6-3, 3-1) in a Section 1-2A win over Aliquippa (0-5, 0-5).

Ligonier Valley 8, Burrell 3 – Elyse Witcoski had a single, home run and three RBIs and Abby Springer and Marlee Miller hit a double apiece for Ligonier Valley (1-5, 1-0) in a Section 1-3A win. Addy Wojtczak, Christina Gural and Pyper Ferres doubled for Burrell (4-5, 0-2).

McGuffey 10, East Allegheny 0 – McKenna Crothers struck out 15 and allowed two hits in six innings to lead McGuffey (4-2, 1-0) to a Section 3-3A win. Alaysia Crawford hit a double for East Allegheny (0-4, 0-2). Miley Main had a single, double and three RBIs for the Highlanders.

Mohawk 12, Quaker Valley 0 – Ashlee Masters had two doubles and three RBIs and Addy Moskal tripled for Mohawk (6-2, 3-0) in a Section 2-3A win. Elena Cindrich hit a single for Quaker Valley (1-4, 0-3). Winning pitcher Reagan Magno struck out nine and allowed one hit in five innings for the Warriors.

Mt. Pleasant 6, Deer Lakes 0 – Gianna Stanek threw a six-hit shutout with five strikeouts and went 3 for 3 with a double and Kendra Brunson had a double and two RBIs to lead Mt. Pleasant (4-3, 2-0) to a Section 1-3A win. Siena Plummer went 3 for 4 and Riley Jones doubled for Deer Lakes (2-6, 0-1).

Neshannock 6, Shenango 0 – Addy Frye went 2 for 3 with a home run and five RBIs to lead Neshannock (9-0, 6-0) to a Section 1-2A win over Shenango (4-4, 3-1).

Norwin 14, Mt. Lebanon 0 – Abbie Telli threw a five-inning no-hitter and struck out nine for Norwin (3-6, 3-3) in a Section 1-6A win over Mt. Lebanon (4-6, 2-5). Rachel Minteer hit a home run, Madelyn Kugler tripled and Isabella Deering doubled for the Knights.

OLSH 11, Seton LaSalle 4 – Mya Eshenbaugh went 2 for 3 with a home run and four RBIs, Leann Walzer hit two doubles and Camryn Hummel drove in three runs for OLSH (3-3, 1-0) in a Section 3-2A win. Mariya Chajkowski hit a home run and Kamiya Morris hit two triples for Seton LaSalle (3-3, 1-1).

Plum 15, Penn Hills 0 – Sydney Pici went 2 for 2 with three RBIs, Danielle Pici had a single, triple and three RBIs and Gianna Tavella and Kadence Ohmer hit a double apiece for Plum (7-2, 3-1) in a Section 1-5A win. Octavia Haynes hit a single for Penn Hills (2-8, 0-4).

Riverside 22, New Brighton 1 – Ava Cummings and Emma Stockman had a triple and three RBIs apiece and Charlie Bissell doubled and drove in two runs for Riverside (2-4, 2-1) in a Section 1-2A win over New Brighton (2-4, 1-2).

Seneca Valley 11, Canon McMillan 1 – Lexie Hames struck out 15 and allowed one run on three hits for Seneca Valley (7-0, 5-0) in a Section 1-6A win. Harley Tournay and Kiersten Williams hit a double apiece for Canon-McMillan (5-5, 3-4). Hames delivered a home run and two RBIs and Olivia Herrem went 2 for 4 with a double and four RBIs for the Raiders.

Serra Catholic 15, Leechburg 3 – Keyara Watkins had a double and four RBIs, Kelly Morrissey hit two singles and drove in three runs and Bianca Gajdos drove in two runs to lead Serra Catholic (1-4, 1-0) to a Section 3-A win. Adalyn Zanotto hit a home run for Leechburg (3-3, 1-1).

Sewickley Academy 15, Cornell 0 – Quincy Sirko went 3 for 3 with a grand slam and six RBIs and Keira Church hit a double and home run for Sewickley Academy (6-0, 3-0) in a Section 1-A win. Kathleen Wegley hit a single for Cornell (3-2, 0-1).

Shady Side Academy 15, Brentwood 11 – Abby Castman went 3 for 4 with a triple and four RBIs, Becca Shriver hit two doubles and Anna Litster doubled and drove in two runs to lead Shady Side Academy (1-3, 1-2) to a Section 2-2A win. Paige Boehm had a triple and three RBIs and Carma Coberly doubled for Brentwood (0-3, 0-1).

Shaler 6, North Hills 0 – Winning pitcher Bria Bosiljevac struck out 12 in a complete-game three-hitter for Shaler (6-2, 4-0) in a Section 1-5A win. Emma Culver hit two singles for North Hills (8-2, 3-1). Addy Aleski hit a three-run homer for the Titans.

South Allegheny 21, Springdale 1 – Cadence McBride went 2 for 2 with a home run and three RBIs and Carrera Conley and Emma Jackson hit a double and triple for South Allegheny (5-1, 1-0) in a Section 2-2A win over Springdale (0-2, 0-2).

South Fayette 6, Montour 3 – Maddie Cavenaugh went 2 for 2 with a triple, home run and two RBIs and Evie Vuono hit a home run to lead South Fayette (6-2, 1-0) to a Section 3-5A win. Shania Cope hit two doubles for Montour (2-5, 0-2).

South Park 20, Steel Valley 1 – Sydney Sekely went 3 for 3 with a double, triple and three RBIs, Sydney Dubyak had a triple and four RBIs and Jacie Hillgsberg hit two doubles for South Park (9-0, 3-0) in a Section 3-3A win. Keyauna Thompson hit a home run and Tori Stabryla doubled for Steel Valley (2-4, 0-2).

Southmoreland 7, Yough 4 – Makayla Etling hit two doubles and Taryn Hollis drove in two runs to lead Southmoreland (3-2, 1-0) to a Section 1-3A win. Kiersten Odelli hit a double for Yough (2-3, 0-1).

Thomas Jefferson 16, Peters Township 2 – Allie Chalovich went 3 for 3 with a double and home run, Liv Stock doubled and drove in two runs and Adalina Bracco and Rylee Nemchek drove in three runs apiece to lead Thomas Jefferson (5-2, 3-1) to a Section 4-5A win. Braylin Fusco drove in two runs for Peters Township (2-6, 0-4).

Trinity 7, Connellsville 6 – Nina Christy hit a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning for the go-ahead run for Trinity (5-5, 3-1) in a Section 4-5A win. Kalyn Cole hit a home run and Cali Leichliter doubled for Connellsville (4-1, 0-1). Ally Krenzelak and Gabriella Humphreys hit a double apiece for the Hillers.

Union 7, South Side 0 – Mia Preuhs threw a one-hitter and struck out 20 for Union (5-1, 2-0) in a Section 1-A win. Karis Dunham doubled for South Side (3-5, 0-1). Irelyn Fisher and Olivia Benedict hit a home run apiece for the Scotties.

Uniontown 12, Ringgold 1 – Emmaleigh Noah went 3 for 4 and Lauren White and Graci Rodeheaver drove in two runs apiece for Uniontown (3-4, 1-2) in a Section 2-4A win. Megan Powell hit a home run for Ringgold (0-10, 0-4).

Waynesburg 11, Washington 2 – Kylee Schaum hit a home run, Breanna Kerr hit a double and winning pitcher Gina Tedrow struck out 17 for Waynesburg (4-3, 1-0) in a Section 4-2A win over Washington (4-1, 0-1).

West Allegheny 4, Upper St. Clair 0 – Autumn Bielecki threw a complete-game four-hitter, Jenna Nolan went 3 for 4 with two doubles and Alaina Pass hit two singles for West Allegheny (6-3, 2-0) in a Section 3-5A win. Sydney Fisher hit a double for Upper St. Clair (6-1, 1-1).

West Greene 10, Mapletown 0 – Payton Gilbert threw a five-inning, two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts and drove in four runs for West Greene (7-0, 2-0) in a Section 2-A win. Marissa Tharp and Kendra Tharp doubled for the Pioneers. Marley Shiflett and Treslee Weston singled for Mapletown (2-5, 0-2).

West Mifflin 13, Oakland Catholic 4 – Kaleigh Tatters went 3 for 3 with a double and four RBIs and Adilee Salopek hit two singles for West Mifflin (6-3, 4-0) in a Section 2-4A win. Madison Pullen had a double and two RBIs for Oakland Catholic (1-4, 0-3).

Western Beaver 7, Central Valley 2 – Cadence Verba hit a grand slam, Izzie Lefebvre homered and Bella Colatriano and Elizabeth Squicquero hit a double apiece to lead Western Beaver (3-5, 2-1) to a Section 3-4A win. Emma Weaver hit a triple for Central Valley (3-2, 1-1).

Girls lacrosse

Fox Chapel 14, Shaler 11 – Caroline Grimsley produced five goals and four assists and Meg Delaney followed with four goals and three assists to lead Fox Chapel (3-3, 2-2) to a Section 2-3A victory over Shaler (2-4, 1-4). Kennedy Murton and Caroline Leland added two goals apiece and Alice McIeland tallied a goal for the Foxes.

Pine-Richland 18, Seneca Valley 2 – Cate Gentile produced five goals and four assists, Mallory Boivin added four goals and four assists and Madeline Mill had two goals as Pine-Richland (8-2, 4-0) cruised to a Section2-3A win against Seneca Valley (2-6, 0-5). Kendyll Jerry scored a goal and had an assist and MacKay had three helpers for the Rams.

Upper St. Clair 19, Hempfield 2 – Katie Sweeney scored a hat trick, Anna Capobres and Riley Powell each added a pair of goals and Sara Groninger had a goal as Upper St. Clair (8-1, 5-0) rolled to a Section 1-3A win. Charlotte Auckerman and Emily Long each scored for Hempfield (1-7, 1-5).
