Zach Garma scored the game-winning goal with 11 minutes to go to lead Seneca Valley to a 1-0 victory over Fox Chapel (1-1, 0-1) in Section 1-4A boys soccer Tuesday. Tyler Holloway assisted on the winning goal for the Raiders (3-0, 1-0).

Armstrong 4, North Catholic 2 – Jordan Callipare scored twice and Aidan McCay added a goal for Armstrong (1-0, 1-0) in a Section 1-3A win over North Catholic (0-3, 0-1).

Avonworth 10, Riverside 1 – Rowan Carmichael and Justin Beck each scored twice as Avonworth (1-0, 1-0) defeated Riverside (0-2, 0-1) in Section 4-2A. Nathan Kline, Aidan Osekowski, William Alvarado, Calder Mahan, Jimmy Quinn and Aboubacar Camara each tallied a goal for the Antelopes.

Belle Vernon 7, Southmoreland 0 – Trevor Kovatch scored all seven goals, breaking the team single-game record of six, to lead Belle Vernon (1-0, 1-0) past Southmoreland (1-2, 0-1) in Section 3-2A.

Bentworth 11, Ligonier Valley 0 – John Scott scored five goals, Ryan Moessner added two goals and three assists, and Ryan Colbert netted a pair to lead Bentworth (2-0, 1-0) past Ligonier Valley (1-1, 0-1) in Section 2-A.

Bethel Park 2, Thomas Jefferson 1 – Cooper Kicinski and Henry Gaston scored to lead Bethel Park (1-1, 1-0) past Thomas Jefferson (2-1, 0-1) in a Section 3-3A showdown.

Burrell 2, Trinity Christian 1 – Cam Wagner converted a penalty in overtime and Hayden Herbulock also scored to lead Burrell (1-0, 1-0) to a Section 3-A win. Luke Kost scored for Trinity Christian (1-1, 0-1).

Butler 1, Pine Richland 0 – Nick Niebauer scored the lone goal and Drew Knight recorded the shutout for Butler (2-0-1, 1-0) in a Section 1-4A victory over Pine Richland (1-2, 0-1).

Canon-McMillan 2, Peters Township 1 – Zach Wickard netted the game-winning goal and Luke Glivic also scored for Canon-McMillan (1-1, 1-0) in Section 2-4A. Blake Gabelhart scored for Peters Township (1-1, 0-1).

Charleroi 14, Chartiers-Houston 0 – Dylan Klinger and Bryce Large each scored hat tricks to lead Charleroi (1-0) to a thumping of Chartiers-Houston (0-3) in nonsection play. Jake Chambers and Gage Patterson each scored two goals for the Cougars.

Chartiers Valley 3, West Allegheny 2 – John Krug had two goals, including the overtime winner, and Angad Kohli also scored as Chartiers Valley (1-2, 1-0) beat West Allegheny (0-2, 0-1) in Section 2-3A.

Deer Lakes 3, Knoch 1 – Zane Spence, Artemey Parshyn and Collin Rodgers scored to carry Deer Lakes (2-0, 1-0) to a Section 2-2A win. Evan Haas scored for Knoch (0-3, 0-1).

East Allegheny 6, South Allegheny 0 – Joe Connors scored four goals and Ryan Rupert added a pair to lead East Allegheny (2-0, 1-0) past South Allegheny (1-2-1, 0-1) in Section 1-2A.

Greensburg Central Catholic 3, Beth-Center 1 – Jackson Vacanti scored a pair of goals, including a successful penalty, and Grant Brewer also scored for Greensburg Central Catholic (1-0, 1-0) in a Section 2-A win. Reiner King and Ryder Roule scored for Beth-Center (0-1, 0-1).

Indiana 4, Highlands 0 – Tyler Hunter had a hat trick to power Indiana (1-1-1, 1-0) past Highlands (0-1, 0-1) in Section 1-3A.

Jeannette 11, Greensburg Salem 0 – Jordan Taylor netted six goals, Austin Emery added three and McAlister Steele and Jor’El Taylor each buried a goal apiece as Jeannette (1-0, 1-0) blanked Greensburg Salem (1-1, 0-1) in Section 2-2A. Jack Butler made two saves and Noah Clary stopped three shots for the Jayhawks.

Keystone Oaks 2, West Mifflin 0 – Makram Ishaq and Jacob Loper each scored a goal to lead Keystone Oaks (1-1, 1-0) to a Section 1-2A win over West Mifflin (0-3, 0-1).

McGuffey 5, Waynesburg 0 – Dylan Stewart recorded a hat trick while Eddie Goodman and Jeremiah Butterfield each scored a goal for McGuffey (3-0, 1-0) in a Section 3-2A win against Waynesburg (1-2, 0-1).

Mohawk 11, Ellwood City 0 – Logan Gabriel and Joey Whippo had a hat trick apiece as Mohawk (1-1, 1-0) earned a Section 4-2A win at Ellwood City (0-1, 0-1).

Montour 5, Ambridge 1 – Dom Passaro scored three goals and Parker Brennan added three assists to lead Montour (1-0, 1-0) past Ambridge (0-3, 0-1) in Section 2-3A. Brayden Davin had a goal and two assists and Jaxon Camp also scored.

Moon 7, Blackhawk 0 – Mike Walenchok scored four goals, Davi Jansson scored two goals and had two assists and Aedan Costa knocked in a goal for Moon (2-1, 1-0) in a Section 2-3A shutout of Blackhawk (0-2, 0-1).

Mt. Pleasant 2, Yough 0 – Luke Domasky had a goal and an assist and Luke Rivardo also scored to help Mt. Pleasant (1-0, 1-0) past Yough (1-1-1, 0-1) in Section 3-2A. Jacob McGuinness recorded the shutout for the Vikings.

Neshannock 3, Mercer 2 – Zayden Herb scored a hat trick to lead Neshannock (2-0) to a close nonsection win against Mercer.

Norwin 6, Allderdice 0 – Daniel Maddock scored twice while Owen Christopher, Ryan Schomer and Luke Helberg each scored a goal as Norwin (2-1, 1-0) blanked Allderdice (0-2, 0-1) in Section 2-4A.

Plum 8, McKeesport 0 – Brady French, Eli Wastchak, Jonathan Aristyl, Christian Alter, Andy Stasser, Zach Carnahan, Zac Mauro and Fedgie Fertil scored for Plum (2-1, 1-0) in a Section 4-3A win over McKeesport (0-2, 0-1).

Ringgold 3, Albert Gallatin 0 – Owen Haywood, Juraj Stasko and Jack Brodak scored as Ringgold (1-0, 1-0) shut out Albert Gallatin (0-1, 0-1) in Section 3-3A.

Quaker Valley 5, Beaver 0 – Bennett Haas scored three goals and Kiril Grin and Liam Miller followed with a goal apiece for Quaker Valley (1-2, 1-0) in a shutout of Beaver (0-1, 0-1) in Section 4-2A.

Shady Side Academy 6, Freeport 1 – Amir Amais scored twice while Jackson Suski, Santiago Maiz, Campbell Tucker-Hill and Beau Brush each netted a goal as Shady Side (1-0, 1-0) defeated Freeport (0-2, 0-1) in Section 2-2A. Xavier DeWitt scored for Freeport.

Springdale 4, Riverview 0 – Billy Lawrence had two goals and an assist to lead Springdale (1-0, 1-0) past Riverview (0-1, 0-1) in Section 3-A. Nathan Dubas had a goal and an assist, Mason Gent also scored and Noah Skaugen recorded the shutout for the Dynamos.

Upper St. Clair 17, Hempfield 0 – Jan Sames buried four goals and Charlie Bacdayan scored a hat trick and had three assists while Liam Burlovic, Joe Donnelly and Ben Murtough each scored twice as Upper St. Clair (3-0, 1-0) shut out Hempfield (0-2, 0-1) in Section 2-4A.

Girls soccer

Seton LaSalle 8, Carlynton 0 – Brynlee Robinson netted a hat trick, while Kendall DeMarino and Anna Porter scored a pair of goals each as Seton LaSalle (1-0) blanked Carlynton (0-1) in a nonsection game.

Volleyball

Beaver 3, Quaker Valley 0 – Chloe List had 20 kills and seven digs to lead Beaver to a nonsection win. Kailyn Connelly added 10 kills, Zoe Ringer recorded 35 assists, Aubrey Bumblis had 15 digs and two aces.

Brownsville 3, Washington 1 – Skyler Gates had 18 kills and Mackenzie Wade contributed 27 assists to lead Brownsville past Washington in Section 2-3A.

Canon-McMillan 3, South Fayette 0 – Natalie Carr had 19 kills and five digs to lead Canon-McMillan to a nonsection win. Abby Tucker added 10 kills and two blocks, Josie Carter had 17 assists and five digs, and Olivia Gross recorded 12 assists and five digs for the Big Macs.

Franklin Regional 3, Elizabeth Forward 0 – Sophia Reitz had nine kills, Maya Speranza added six kills, and Grace Huang had four aces for Franklin Regional in a nonsection win.

Hampton 3, Armstrong 1 – Emmy Schrom had 25 kills, Avery Koontz added 28 digs and Lilly Muczinski dished out 41 assists to lead Hampton to a nonsection win.

Mars 3, Avonworth 1 – Ella Nicotra had 16 kills, Rylee Wooldridge added 12 kills and 10 digs, and Emma Balazentis recorded 19 digs for Mars in a nonsection win.
