Nathan Wesling scored 22 points to lead Baldwin to a 56-49 victory over Peters Township in a battle of unbeaten teams in Section 3-5A boys basketball Tuesday night.

Max Marzina, Matthew Schenk and Caden Cherico added 10 points apiece for the Highlanders (6-0, 1-0). Dylan Donovan scored 21 points for Peters Township (5-1, 1-1).

Belle Vernon 79, Yough 37 – Luca Ghilani scored 14 points to lead six players in double figures for Belle Vernon (5-2, 2-0) in a Section 3-4A win. Dane Daughtery and Elijah Majors added 12 points apiece and Dominic Ghilani, Cameron Jenko and Jude Minniti each had 10 points for the Leopards. Tyler Smith scored 11 points for Yough (1-6, 0-2).
