Nathan Schanbacher poured in 33 points to lead North Hills to a 58-56 victory over Seneca Valley in Section 1-6A boys basketball Friday night.

Jackson Long chipped in 11 for North Hills (4-3, 1-2). Andrew Omasits scored 21 points and Nico Santapau had 12 for the Raiders (3-3, 1-2).

Aliquippa 59, Freedom 36 – Antonio Reddic scored 15 points, Cleaster Longmire IV had 11 and QaLil Goode added 10 to lead Aliquippa (3-0, 2-0) to a Section 1-3A win. Cameron Adams scored 19 points for Freedom (1-6, 0-3).

Allderdice 72, Perry Traditional Academy 27 – Keith Taylor scored 13 points, Anthony Abrahams added 11 and Markus Kuhn chipped in 10 for Allderdice (3-4, 1-0) in a City League win. Chaz Jackson led Perry (2-7, 0-1) with eight points.

Apollo-Ridge 75, Steel Valley 41 – Zane Beatty poured in 23 points, Logen Schrock had 12 and Alex Clawson chipped in 11 to lead Apollo-Ridge (6-2, 1-0) to a Section 3-3A win. Tyson Barron led Steel Valley (0-8, 0-1) with 26 points.

Avella 72, Nazareth Prep 49 – Brayden Fuller led with 24 points, Bryce Wright followed with 20, Nate Cilia had 11 and Cameron Ullom added 10 for Avella (6-1, 1-0) in a Section 1-A win. Grey Wible scored 21 points and Ahsan Harrison had 19 for Nazareth Prep (0-6, 0-1).

Avonworth 69, Hopewell 62 – Will Shields scored 18 points, Luca Neal had 13 and Carson Bellinger added 11 to lead Avonworth (1-5, 1-0) to a Section 2-4A win. Brody Rock scored 20 points and James “Booboo” Armstrong had 15 for Hopewell (4-1, 0-1).

Bentworth 45, Springdale 42 (OT) – Ben Hays scored 22 points and Ryan Moessner added 11 to lead Bentworth (4-2, 2-1) to a Section 1-2A win. Robby Simmen scored 15 and Trevor Clark added 12 for Springdale (2-4, 1-2).

Bishop Canevin 94, Washington 66 – Jackson Maddix led Bishop Canevin (3-4) with 32 points, Raukeem Hawkins followed with 18 and Damar Olds added 14 in a nonsection win. Vincent Johnson scored 20 and Tayvonne France had 16 for Washington (3-4).

Brentwood 59, Propel Andrew Street 31 – Xh’avier Nunez and Deng Mu scored 16 points apiece and Michael Satler added 10 to lead Brentwood (3-5) to a nonsection win. Malik Jeter scored 12 points for Propel Andrew Street.

Fort Cherry 55, Beth-Center 51 – Connor Vansickle hit for 29 points and Landon Trnavsky added 12 for Fort Cherry (3-2, 2-1) in Section 3-2A. Brayden Hull scored 16 and Tyler Kurowski had 12 for Beth-Center (3-3, 1-2).

Green Mountain (CO) 55, North Allegheny 43 – Sam Mielenz scored 36 points to lead Green Mountain at the KSA Pre-Holiday tournament. Blake Craft scored 11 and Justin Statler had 10 for North Allegheny (5-2).

McKeesport 79, Albert Gallatin 34 – Lamont Perkins scored 29 points, Aaron Reeder had 15 and Darryl McCullough added 11 to lead McKeesport (4-2, 2-1) to a Section 1-5A win over Albert Gallatin (2-5, 0-3).

McNicholas (OH) 78, North Catholic 54 – Tarik Fade Mula scored 22 points and Grant Waters added 16 to lead McNicholas at the Queen City Hoop Fest. Jason Fredericks scored 19 and Jude Rottmann added 14 for North Catholic (5-2).

Montour 69, Blackhawk 36 – Led by 20 points from Loic Kalau, 18 from Brandon Bennett and 13 from Robert Schmitt, Montour (2-5, 1-2) picked up a Section 4-5A win. Marco Fusetti led Blackhawk (2-6, 0-3) with 18.

Mt. Lebanon 50, Canon-McMillan 43 – Jacob Zaber scored 17 points and Liam Sheely added 16 to deliver a Section 2-6A victory to Mt. Lebanon (5-1, 2-1). Roman Koenemund scored 14 for Canon-McMillan (4-3, 1-2).

Neighborhood Academy 67, Monessen 29 – Julius Page scored 19 points to lead four players in double figures for Neighborhood Academy (5-0, 1-0) in a Section 2-A win. Trey McMurray added 12, Kedron Gilmore 11 and D’Andre Green 10. Torrence Taylor led Monessen (2-3, 0-1) with nine points.

Allderdice 81, Perry Traditional Academy 13 – Bailey White scored 40 points to become Allderdice girls basketball’s all-time leading scorer, helping the Dragons (6-1, 1-0) to a City League win. White finished the game with 1,709 points, breaking Mary Myers’ record of 1,707. Rhyan Sledge added 11 points and Seena Teshome had 10 for Allderdice. Nikea Johnson led Perry (0-4, 0-1) with nine.

Bentworth 37, Mapletown 32 – Jesse Laskey and Bella Moyer each scored 11 points and Nora Lindley had eight points and 15 rebounds to boost Bentworth (4-3) to a nonsection win. MaKenna Lotspeich scored 13 to lead Mapletown (1-8).

Canon-McMillan 49, Upper St. Clair 36 – Faye Saunders scored 14 points and Brooke Stanton added nine to lead Canon McMillan (7-1, 1-0) to a Section 2-6A win. Kat Polstyanko scored eight points for Upper St. Clair (3-3, 0-1).

Shaler 38, Plum 32 – Reese Smetanka scored 18 points and Shaler (7-1, 2-0) took a four-point lead in the first quarter and made it stand up in a matchup of top teams in Section 1-5A. Tamia West led Plum (6-2, 2-1) with 16 points.

West Allegheny 61, Mars 42 – Breana Gubba scored 16 points and Emma Ruperto added 14 to lead West Allegheny (5-1, 2-1) to a Section 3-5A win. Alexis Cashdollar scored 14 points and Cecilia Christy had 13 for Mars (2-4, 0-2). Ella Smith and Skylar Gubba also added 10 points apiece for the Indians.
