Donshae Mosley scored 16 points to lead Woodland Hills to a 62-52 victory over Penn Hills in nonsection boys basketball Tuesday night.

Calvin Barksdale added 11 points for the Wolverines (3-1), who jumped out to an eight-point lead in the first quarter. Calix Clark had a game-high 21 for Penn Hills (0-3) while Amon Hawthorne (11) and Aiden Thompson (10) had 21 combined.

Avella 73, West Greene 60 – Nate Cilia scored 26 points, Bryce Wright had 16 and Brayden Fuller added 15 to lead Avella (4-1) to a nonsection win. Will Shipman scored 22 points and Landon Hill had 11 for West Greene (0-3).

Beaver 66, Deer Lakes 57 – Jake Peluso scored 19 points, Logan Weiland had 15 and Junior Marino added 12 to lead Beaver (3-1) to a nonsection win. Evan Moore scored 27 points for Deer Lakes (2-2).

Beth-Center 90, Charleroi 78 – Brayden Hull led with 22 points, Jason Zellie followed with 18, Parker Amos had 16 and Hunter Bobbs added 12 for Beth-Center (2-1) in a nonsection win. Xavion Thomas scored 23 points and Jackson Keranko had 17 for Charleroi (1-2).

Central Catholic 61, Allderdice 44 – Enzo Khalil (22 points) and Jack Stoessel (20 points) each hit the 20-point mark for Central Catholic (2-1) in its nonsection win. Keith Taylor had 10 points for Allderdice (2-3)

Chartiers-Houston 70, Brentwood 51 – Aaron Walsh poured in 21 points, Brody McCrerey added 18 and Noah Doyle chipped in 10 to lead Chartiers-Houston (2-2) to a nonsection win. Xh’avier Nunez scored 20 points and Deng Mu had 18 for Brentwood (1-2).

Chartiers Valley 63, Pine-Richland 53 – Julian Semplice had 16 points, Luca Federico had 12 and Silas Verzich had 11 as Chartiers Valley (3-1) got the nonsection win. Doolin Stober scored 14, Grant Spacciapoli had 13 and Eli Catalano added 12 for Pine-Richland (1-2).

Eden Christian 63, Serra Catholic 61 – Sam D’Ippolito led five double-digit scorers with 15 points to help Eden Christian (4-0) past Serra Catholic (2-3) in nonsection play. Brady Salvia had 14, Mason Dean had 12 and River Bartram and Michael Sample each had 11 for Eden Christian. Brayden Graham had 27 for Serra Catholic.

Frazier 64, Mapletown 15 – Kolby Stewart had 24 points while Austin Stewart added 10 to power Frazier (3-2) past Mapletown in nonsection play.

Geibel Catholic 79, Cheswick Christian Academy 46 – Evan Strimel’s 21 points led a quartet of double-figure scorers for Geibel Catholic (3-1) in its nonsection win. Eahn Stevenson had 16, Anthony Nickischer had 15 and Seth Dolan scored 10 for the Gators. Brady Rochkind led Cheswick Christian Academy (0-2) with 20 points while Joseph Rosio (14) and Sam Kostick (10) combined for 24.

Hempfield 44, Fox Chapel 41 – Dan Husentis had eight first-quarter points on his way to a game-high 19 to lead Hempfield (3-1) to the nonsection win. John Rehak had 13 and Joe McGivney chipped in 10 for Fox Chapel (3-1).

Highlands 61, Hampton 57 – Troy Bielak had 20 points, Carmine LaCava had 15 and Ty Hall had 12 as Highlands (3-1) rallied from 16 points down in the second quarter for a nonsection win. Gavin Guinn had 17 points (with seven rebounds and five steals), Jonas Cupps had 13 points and Zach Danner added 11 to lead Hampton (2-2).

Jeannette 79, Summit Academy 61 – Markus McGowan scored 23 points and Kymon’e Brown added 21 to lead Jeannette (3-1) to a nonsection win. Demetrius Crosby scored 30 points and Ky’zir Rowan had 19 for Summit Academy (3-1).

Jefferson-Morgan 38, Bentworth 33 – Dayten Marion scored 15 points and Jeremiah Robertson added 13 to lead Jefferson-Morgan (2-0) to a nonsection win. Ben Hayes scored for Bentworth (2-1).

Keystone Oaks 58, Brashear 51 – Erond Jakupi led Keystone Oaks (5-0) with 25 points and Jahsun Queen added 10 in a nonsection win. Carter Ballard scored 14 points and Nasir Thomas had 12 for Brashear (0-4).

Laurel Highlands 76, Waynesburg 60 – Kayden Smith poured in 22 points, Luke Martin added 13 and Sevi Vechiolia chipped in 10 to lead Laurel Highlands (4-1) to a nonsection win. Jackson Dean scored 21 points and Dane Woods had 20 for Waynesburg (2-2).

Mars 63, Latrobe 59 – Austen Wroblewski hit for 23 points and Nicholas Santoro added 15 to help Mars (2-1) to a nonsection win. Dom Scarton scored 19, Andy Tatsch finished with 16 and Rob Young chipped in 11 for Latrobe (2-2).

McGuffey 47, Ligonier Valley 45 – Wyatt Frazee hit the game-winning layup and Kolt McGowan scored a career-high 17 points to lead McGuffey (3-2) to a nonsection win. Michael Wisniewski scored 13 for Ligonier Valley (2-2).

McKeesport 68, Belle Vernon 59 – Lamont Perkins had 20 points, while Brian Jones (15), Makai Daniels (10) and Darryl McCullough (10) contributed a combined 35 for McKeesport (2-1). Cam Jenko scored 15, Curtis Wade had 13 and Luca Ghillani had 10 for Belle Vernon (2-3).

Mohawk 78, Blackhawk 47 – Bobby Fadden connected on three 3-pointers en route to 26 points while Vinny Pezzuolo hit four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points to lead Mohawk (2-1) to the nonsection win. Joey Nail had 14 and Drew Wrona 10 for the Warriors. Marco Fusetti scored 21 points (with five 3-pointers) and Carter Davis reached 15 for Blackhawk (2-2).

Monessen 67, Nazareth Prep 56 – Tayvin Craggette led with 18 points, Torrence Taylor followed with 14 and Jay’veon Jeffries added 12 to push Monessen (1-2) to a nonsection win. Grey Wible scored 23 points and Ashan Harrison had 18 for Nazareth Prep (0-5).

Mt. Lebanon 51, Baldwin 51 – Liam Sheely hit four 3-pointers on his way to 23 points to lead Mt. Lebanon (3-0) to a nonsection win. Jacob Zaber had 14, and Carter Gourd had 11 for the Blue Devils. Evan Golvash had 18 points, Trey Alario had 12 and Max Marzina had 11 for Baldwin (1-1).

Neighborhood Academy 76, Erie First Christian 32 – Kedron Gilmore and Trey McMurray scored 17 points each to lead five scorers in double figures in a nonsection win for Neighborhood Academy (4-0). Julius Page added 13 and Derrick Hardeman and Dante Wright each had 12. Avery Collins scored 20 and Zachariah Rupp chipped in 12 for Erie First Christian.

North Allegheny 65, Northgate 25 – Blake Craft led a trio of double-digit scorers with 16 points while Ben Coffman had 13 and Cole O’Neil added 10 for North Allegheny (3-0). Des Williams had 11 to lead Northgate (0-3).

North Catholic 96, Bishop Canevin 63 – Jason Fredericks led with 22 points, Brandon Pickett followed with 20 and Jake Olkowski and Jude Rottman added 18 points apiece to push North Catholic (3-0) to a nonsection win. Drew Allen scored 22 points and Jhalil Benton had 12 for Bishop Canevin (2-4).

Ringgold 71, Albert Gallatin 37 – David Wachinski scored 14 points, Braylen Lomax had 12 and Takeo Tolliver added 11 to lead Ringgold (2-1) to a nonsection win. Ethan Kennedy scored nine points for Albert Gallatin (2-2).

Riverside 62, Rochester 36 – Logan Young led with 15 points, McCartney Plassmeyer followed with 13, Dylan Meyer had 12 and Cole Becker added 11 for Riverside (4-0) in a nonsection win. Braeden Siget and Bobby George scored eight points apiece for Rochester (0-5).

Riverview 94, Aquinas Academy 76 – Rex Roberts scored 32 points, hitting five 3-pointers, to lead Riverview (2-4) to a nonsection win. Ben Franciscus added 21 and Prince Govan had 13 for the Raiders. Jonah Burchill scored 21, Sam Duer added 20 and Clayton Frissora had 14 for Aquinas Academy (2-2).

Sewickley Academy 62, Ambridge 23 – Mamadou Kane scored 12 points and Adam Ikamba added 10 to lead Sewickley Academy (3-0) to a nonsection win. Jared Astorino scored eight points for Ambridge (0-2).

South Fayette 27, Seneca Valley 26 (OT) – Tyson Wright scored eight points for South Fayette (1-3) in a nonsection win. Owen Congdon scored seven points for Seneca Valley (2-1).

Southmoreland 64, Yough 18 – Ty Whoric scored 19 points and Noah Felentzer and Brock Pritts added 14 points apiece for Southmoreland (2-2) in a nonsection win over Yough (0-6).

Thomas Jefferson 72, West Mifflin 36 – Nick Trklya led all scorers with 18 points as Thomas Jefferson (4-0, 1-0) got the nonsection win. Justin Fry had 13 and Noah Sear added 12 for the Jaguars. Noah Williams led West Mifflin (0-6) with 13 points.

Western Beaver 51, Beaver County Christian 47 – Nate Schwarz had a game-high 18 points, Dakota Trainer followed with 16 and Western Beaver (1-4) got its first win of the season.

Girls basketball

Allderdice 61, Moon 47 – Bailey White erupted for 31 points to lead Allderdice (4-1) to a nonsection win. Rhyan Sledge contributed 14 for the Dragons. Maria Depner had 21 points and Avery Pacheco had 12 for Moon (2-2).

Aquinas Academy 43, Freeport 26 – Tess Duer had a game-high 19 points to lead Aquinas Academy (4-0) to a nonsection win. Sydney Reiser and Jaisa Gaillot each scored eight for Freeport (2-2).

Avella 56, Frazier 48 – Kenzi Miller had a game-high 22 points for Avella (1-3), while Haleigh Rush had 19. Frazier (1-3) was led by Allie Yauch’s 25 points.

Beaver Falls 57, Hopewell 44 – Dreaven Haskins scored 20 points and Calasia Cannon added 10 to lead Beaver Falls (3-0) to a nonsection win. Avery Boyd scored 13 points and Addison Blosnick and Hannah McDowell had 11 points apiece for Hopewell (1-4).

California 58, Bishop Canevin 42 – Hayley Gibson scored 24 points, Lila Gibson had 12 and Madyson Mortin added 10 to lead California (1-4) to a nonsection win. Kya Cooley scored 18 points and Isabella Sysak and Gianna Matthews had 10 points apiece for Bishop Canevin (1-2).

Carlynton 43, New Brighton 19 – Carlee Hughes scored 15 points and Lucy Vetter added 11 for Carlynton (2-1) in a nonsection win over New Brighton (0-4).

Connellsville 51, Albert Gallatin 19 – Three players scored in double digits for Connellsville (3-2) with Saige Mikens leading the way with 17. Maggie Orndorff had 13 and Payton Petrone had 10 for the Falcons.

East Allegheny 36, Leechburg 34 – Ameria Simmons scored 15 points while Ivy Barnett had 10 to lead East Allegheny (1-4) to a nonsection win. Hayven Lookabaugh led Leechburg (3-2) with 12 points.

Ellwood City 46, Freedom 28 – Teegan Patterson scored 13 points to lead a trio of double-digit scorers for Ellwood City (1-4) in its first win of the season. Kyra Conddell and Carah Kreitzer each had 10 for the Wolverines.

Greensburg Salem 64. Southmoreland 12 – Sophie Beckerleg scored 16 points and Mya Heasley and Isabella Dinkle added 12 points apiece for Greensburg Salem (2-1) in a nonsection win over Southmoreland (1-3).

Hampton 53, Highlands 20 – Led by 13 points from Maria Nyilas and 12 from Harper Gibbons, Hampton (5-0) stayed undefeated with a nonsection win. Brooke Waller led Highlands (0-6) with 15 points.

Hempfield 44, Fox Chapel 30 – Gabby Coccia scored 12 points to lead Hempfield (4-0) to a nonsection win. Lyla Jablon scored eight points for Fox Chapel (1-3).

Norwin 67, Thomas Jefferson 44 – Ava Christopher scored 23 points to lead Norwin (4-0) to a nonsection win over Thomas Jefferson (4-1). Nia O’Barto added 11 for the Knights. Riley McCabe and Emily Hritz each scored 10 for the Jaguars.

Pine-Richland 39, Chartiers Valley 37 – Cate Gentile scored 23 points to lead Pine-Richland (1-3) to a nonsection win. Alyssa Davis scored 20 points for Chartiers Valley (0-4).

Serra Catholic 61, St. Joseph 53 – Bella Dumbroski connected for 29 points and Mia Brush added 16 for Serra Catholic (1-2) in a nonsection win. Kasey Cienik and Bella Bartolovic each scored 17 for St. Joseph (2-2).

Shaler 41, Butler 36 – Reese Smetanka scored 19 points to lead Shaler (3-1) to a nonsection win. Emily Cornish scored nine points for Butler (4-1).
