Courtney Wallace scored 26 points to lead Trib HSSN Class A No. 1 Neighborhood Academy to a 73-44 victory over No. 2 Serra Catholic in Section 2-A boys basketball Friday night.
Kedron Gilmore added 11 and Syncer Nicholson had 10 for Neighborhood Academy (12-1, 4-0). Tyler Sapida scored 16 and Mark Johnson had 12 for Serra Catholic (10-2, 3-1).
Allderdice 83, Carrick 48 – Led by 14 points from Lukas Stead, 13 from Trey Schachter, 12 from Asher Schwartz and 10 from Keith Taylor, Allderdice (5-7, 3-0) picked up a City League win. Stephon Malloy scored 17 points, Brayden Fisher added 12 and Treshaun Beasley had 11 for Carrick (5-7, 1-2).
Aquinas Academy 91, Avella 72 – Sam Duer led with 27 points, David Zaharko followed with 25 and Jonah Burchill added 16 for Aquinas Academy (12-1, 4-0) in a Section 1-A win. Nate Cilia scored 20 points and Bryce Wright had 17 for Avella (7-5-1, 1-1-1).
Avonworth 79, Ambridge 63 – Rowan Carmichael scored 34 points and Nate Goetz added 24 to lead Avonworth (10-1, 4-0) to a Section 2-4A win. Jared Astorino scored 32 points for Ambridge (2-9, 0-4). Adam Fernendez added 13 and Julien Hubbard had 10.
Baldwin 71, Bethel Park 55 – Nate Wesling scored 26 points, Matt Schenk had 12 and Gabe Barakat added 10 to lead Baldwin (11-1, 4-1) to a Section 3-5A win. Tanner Pfeuffer scored 14 points for Bethel Park (5-7, 2-3).

Knoch 61, North Catholic 56 – Vinnie DeFelice scored 16 points and Knoch (9-4, 4-1) used a 21-11 advantage in the third quarter to pull away for a Section 1-4A win. Derek Lang added 15 and Jackson Bauman had 14 for the Knights. Jason Fredericks scored 21 points, Owen Maddalon added 17 and Jude Rottmann had 11 for North Catholic (9-5, 4-1).
Latrobe 67, McKeesport 63 – Max Butler scored 29 points, Ian DeCerb had 16 and Kyle McNeil added 11 to lead Latrobe (13-1, 5-1) to a Section 1-5A win. Lamont Perkins and Brian Jones scored 15 points apiece for McKeesport (4-9, 2-4).

West Mifflin 45, East Allegheny 41 – With eight seconds left, freshman Julian Dewberry hit two free throws to seal the Section 3-4A win for West Mifflin. Daven Reynolds (19) and Jerome Corbett (11) combined for 30 points for the Titans. Jayden Patterson had 12 for East Allegheny (3-10, 0-5).
Winchester Thurston 64, Leechburg 30 – Mike Hammerling scored 21 points, Matt Southers added 19 and Anthony Pipkin had 10 for Winchester Thurston (7-4, 2-2) in Section 2-2A. Chase Henry led Leechburg (2-12, 1-4) with 11 points.
