Carter Tumulty scored 16 points and Michael Santicola had 15 for Moon en route to a 51-43 victory over rival Mars in a Section 4-5A boys basketball game Tuesday night.

Austen Wroblewski scored 15 points and Austin Campbell had 11 for Mars (6-4, 2-1).

Moon (10-2, 3-1) used a 15-5 run in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Aliquippa 84, New Brighton 24 – Joshua Pratt scored 21 points and Jeremiah Pratt added 19 to lead Aliquippa (7-1, 4-0) past New Brighton (2-8, 1-3) in Section 1-3A. Cleaster Longmire added 11 and Qa’lil Goode had 10 for the Quips.

Allderdice 71, Brashear 31 – Lukas Stead and Asher Schwartz scored 17 points apiece and Trey Schachter added 14 to lead Allderdice (4-7, 2-0) to a City League win. Nasir Thomas scored 12 and Ryan White had 11 for Brashear (3-10, 0-2).

Aquinas Academy 83, Beaver County Christian 55 – Jake Guillen led all scorers with 31 points, David Zaharko added 17, Clayton Frissora followed with 16 and Sam Duer finished with 15 for Aquinas Academy (10-1, 3-0) in a Section 1-A victory. Luke Schidemantte scored 16 and Hunter Mosley had 12 for Beaver County Christian (5-4, 0-2).

Avonworth 58, Central Valley 48 – Rowan Carmichael scored 22 points, Nate Goetz had 15 and Noah Quinn added 11 to lead Avonworth (9-1, 3-0) to a Section 2-4A win. Isaiah Jeter scored 20 points for Central Valley (9-2, 2-1).

Baldwin 72, Ringgold 29 – Max Marzina scored 14 points, Caden Cherico had 12 and Matt Schenk added 10 for Baldwin (10-1, 3-1) in a Section 3-5A win over Ringgold (2-7, 0-3).

Beaver 69, Ambridge 60 – Brady Mayo led with 39 points, Nick Krzeczowski added 11 and Junior Marino had 10 for Beaver (10-3, 2-1) in a Section 2-4A win. Jared Astorino scored 24 points and Owen Buchanan had 12 for Ambridge (2-8, 0-3).

Belle Vernon 85, East Allegheny 60 – Zion Moore scored 25 points, Tommy Davis followed with 20 and Trevor Kovatch chipped in 13 to lead Belle Vernon (9-4, 4-1) in Section 3-4A. Cedrick Mack scored 20 and Chris Portis and Jayden Patterson each added 13 for East Allegheny (3-9, 0-4).

Bethel Park 52, Thomas Jefferson 48 – Tanner Pfeuffer scored 20 points to pace Bethel Park (5-6, 2-2) in a Section 3-5A win over Thomas Jefferson (5-5, 1-3). Nick Trklja scored 20 points and Justin Fry put up 16 for the Jaguars.

Blackhawk 71, Lincoln Park 49 – Justin Shanor recorded a double-double with 30 points and 10 rebounds and Tyler Heckathorn added his own double-double with 20 points and 17 boards as Blackhawk (4-8, 1-4) bested Lincoln Park (2-8, 0-4) in Section 4-5A. Mason Rowan scored 14 points and Doionte Henry added 12 for the Leopards.

Brentwood 68, Leechburg 53 – Forrest Betz finished with 18 points, Colton Rosing had 16 and Orlando Johnson added 12 for Brentwood (4-6, 2-2) in a Section 2-2A victory. Rocco Vigna and Brady Rollinger each scored 12 for Leechburg (2-11, 1-3).

Burrell 78, Freeport 46 – Ryan Wass led with 23 points, Tucker Bitar followed with 17 and DJ Cosentino added 10 for Burrell (5-7, 2-3) in a Section 1-4A win. Carson Kane scored 12 points for Freeport (3-8, 1-3).

Central Catholic 62, Norwin 45 – Enzo Khalil scored 14 points while Christian Williams and Wills Kontul dropped 10 points apiece as Central Catholic (7-4, 4-1) defeated Norwin (6-6, 2-3) in Section 2-6A. Chris McKnight scored 13 points and Stefano Giannikas followed with 12 for the Knights.

Charleroi 60, Mt. Pleasant 44 – Brock Henderson scored 14 points and Shea Smith added 12 for Charleroi (7-6, 1-1) in a Section 4-3A win over Mt. Pleasant (0-12, 0-3). Coke Massari had 12 for the Vikings.

Cheswick Christian Academy 69, Westmoreland Christian Academy 32 – Joseph Rosio led all scorers with 24 points, Keith Booth added 14 and Brady Rochkind put up 13 to lead Cheswick Christian (5-5, 1-0) to a Greater Pittsburgh Division win in SWCAC play. Brady Painter produced 20 points for Westmoreland.

Clairton 64, Bentworth 52 – Brandon Murphy and Taris Wooding each scored 16 points to lead Clairton (4-3, 4-1) to a Section 1-2A victory. Christopher Harper produced 18 points to pace Bentworth (3-8, 0-5).

Derry 68, Yough 38 – John Wasnick and Stan Rajkovich scored 16 points apiece to lead Derry (8-3, 5-0) to a Section 3-4A win. Brayden Robinson added 11 and Izak Lenhart 10. Ryan Westerman scored 10 for Yough (1-12, 0-4).

Elizabeth Forward 76, West Mifflin 37 – Tyler Basic scored 18 points and Cy Herchelroath, Daniel Spence and James Gile had 12 points apiece to lead Elizabeth Forward (9-3, 3-1) to a Section 3-4A win. Jose Perez scored 14 points and Julian Dewberry had 12 for West Mifflin (2-11, 1-3).

Fort Cherry 47, Jefferson-Morgan 43 – Shane Cornali led all scorers with 19 points and 22 rebounds and hit the 1,000-point mark for his career to lead Fort Cherry (5-6, 3-2) past Jefferson-Morgan (8-3, 4-1) in Section 3-2A. Matt Sieg added 11 points and 11 rebounds and Evan Rogers finished with 12 points for the Rangers. Houston Guesman had 11 points for the Rockets.

Fox Chapel 54, North Hills 52 – Grant Fenton scored a career-high 17 points and Caden Kaiser added 16 to lead Fox Chapel (10-2, 5-0) to a Section 1-6A victory. Nathan Schanbacher scored 19 and Zach Pollard had 13 for North Hills (2-10, 1-4).

Hampton 74, Valley 48 – Jonas Cupps scored 15 points and Gavin Guinn and Andrew Butler chipped in with 14 each as Hampton (5-6) defeated Valley (5-7) in nonsection play. Tayshaun Hawkins scored 17 points, Mikael Allen followed with 15 and Taireke Davis added 12 for the Vikings.

Hempfield 66, Canon-McMillan 47 – Drew Gordon scored 16 points and Trevor Donsen added 10 for Hempfield (7-5, 2-3) in a Section 2-6A win. Roman Koenemund scored 16 and Michael Detrich added 13 for Canon-McMillan (2-9, 0-5).

Indiana 60, Armstrong 57 – Stanford Webb scored 19 points and Aaron Webb added 17 to power Indiana (4-6, 1-3) to a Section 2-5A win. Jacob Szep led Armstrong (4-8, 0-5) with 13 points. Chase Jablonski, Quinton Olsen and Jaydon Oliver each added 12.

Jeannette 70, Springdale 40 – Kymon’e Brown scored 15 points, Xavier Odorisio-Farrow had 12 and Marcus McGowan added 11 to lead Jeannette (11-0, 5-0) to a Section 1-2A win. Robby Simmen scored 17 points for Springdale (8-4, 2-3).

Kiski Area 64, Shaler 44 – Colin Keller led with 19 points, Amaree Gonzalez followed with 12 and Carson Heinle added 11 for Kiski Area (5-6, 3-1) in a Section 2-5A win. Deron Nixon scored 12 points and Chad Gavulic had 11 for Shaler (5-7, 2-2).

Laurel Highlands 56, Albert Gallatin 43 – Aiden Black scored 23 points and Antwan Black added 14 to help Laurel Highlands (4-8, 1-4) to a Section 1-5A win. Darrin Ford scored 10 for Albert Gallatin (7-5, 2-3).

McGuffey 69, Keystone Oaks 65 – Aydan Cunningham produced 28 points and Mason Nemeth added 13 to lead McGuffey (9-3, 2-1) to a Section 2-3A win. Erond Jakupi scored 23 points, Joey Colton added 13 and Talia Watts dropped 12 for Keystone Oaks (9-3, 2-1).

Mohawk 70, Beaver Falls 42 – Drew Wrona scored 28 points and made six 3-pointers, Bobby Fadden had 19 points and Joey Nail added 10 to lead Mohawk (10-2, 4-0) to a Section 1-3A win. Braylon Pitts scored 17 points and Cartier Williams had 13 for Beaver Falls (0-12, 0-5).

Monessen 74, Environmental Charter 33 – Devontae Robinson and Jae’Kwon Craggette scored 14 points each and Rodney Johnson added 13 to help Monessen (6-4, 1-2) to a Section 2-A win. Tobias Howard led Environmental Charter (0-7, 0-3) with nine points.

Montour 83, West Allegheny 60 – Ama Sow produced a triple-double with 33 points, 15 rebounds and 10 blocks to power Montour (9-1, 4-0) past West Allegheny (5-7, 1-3) in Section 4-5A. Colton Straight had 15 points and Trey Hopper added 10 for the Spartans. Josiah Johnson scored 13 points, Anthony Lanni followed with 11 and Donovan O’Connor and Jonah Buglak scored 10 points apiece for the Indians.

Mt. Lebanon 77, Connellsville 42 – Carter Gould scored 21 points, Liam Sheely had 15 and Sam Deibert added 14 to lead Mt. Lebanon (7-4, 3-2) to a Section 2-6A win. Rocco Farrell scored 14 points for Connellsville (3-9, 0-5).

Nazareth Prep 75, Summit Academy 53 – Will Evans led with 27 points, Leon Harrison had 12 and Michael Keyes added 11 for Nazareth Prep (8-2, 3-0) in a Section 1-A win. Kyizir Rowan scored 20 points and Robert Young had 12 for Summit Academy (3-5-1, 0-2-1).

Neshannock 88, Western Beaver 34 – Geoffrey Measel scored 23 points, David Kwiat had 16 and Tony Perrotta added 14 for Neshannock (9-1, 5-0) in a Section 4-2A win. Dakota Trainer scored 11 points and Carter Marshall had 10 for Western Beaver (2-9, 0-5).

New Castle 65, Pine-Richland 52 – Kai Cox scored 30 points and Damian Harrison added 12 to lead New Castle (9-1, 4-1) to a Section 1-6A win. Grant Spacciapolli scored 16 points, Emery Moye added 14 and Eli Catalano had 10 for Pine-Richland (5-5, 3-2).

North Catholic 92, Highlands 71 – Owen Maddalon led with 28 points, Jason Fredericks followed with 26 and Jude Rottmann added 18 for North Catholic (9-4, 4-0) in a Section 1-4A win. Carmine Lacava, Ty Hall and Troy Bielak scored 20 points apiece for Highlands (1-9, 0-4).

OLSH 57, Shenango 52 (OT) – Jake Johnson scored 19 points, Tiernan McCullough had 12 and Austin Avsec and Vann Kavals added 10 points apiece to lead OLSH (8-3, 3-1) to a Section 4-2A win. Joey Campoli scored 24 points and made five 3-pointers for Shenango (4-7, 2-3).

Penn Hills 79, Plum 57 – Amon Hawthorne scored 20 points to lead five players in double figures for Penn Hills (5-6, 5-0) in Section 2-5A. Calix Clark had 17, Cam Glenn 14, Aiden Thompson 13 and Cato Cahill 10 for the Indians. Will Beckner scored 15 and Owen Proskin added 11 for Plum (6-5, 2-2).

Penn-Trafford 66, McKeesport 59 – Tyler Anthony put up 19 points, Brayden Stone followed with 15 and Zach Feldman had 12 for Penn-Trafford (5-5, 2-3) in a Section 1-5A clash with McKeesport (4-8, 2-3). Lamont Perkins led all scorers with 33 points for the Tigers.

Peters Township 62, South Fayette 50 – Nick McCullough scored 17 points to lead Peters Township (9-3, 3-1) to a Section 3-5A win. Gavin Orosz led all scorers with 22 points and Dylan Head dropped 12 for South Fayette (7-4, 4-1).

Quaker Valley 61, Hopewell 40 – Led by 20 points from Kolton Johnson, 14 from Dana Kromah and 12 from Sam Chapman, Quaker Valley (8-2, 2-1) defeated Hopewell (4-7, 0-3) in Section 2-4A.

Riverside 56, Freedom 37 – Led by 18 points from Logan Young and 14 each from Drake Fox and McCartney Plassmeyer, Riverside (7-6, 2-3) defeated Freedom (1-8, 1-3) in Section 1-3A.

Seneca Valley 58, Butler 52 – Nico Santapau hit five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points and Andrew Omasits also scored 17 for Seneca Valley (7-6, 4-1) in a Section 1-6A win. Ayden Andrews scored 14 and Stainton Forbes and Tayt Lucas added 13 each for Butler (8-4, 1-4).

Serra Catholic 64, St. Joseph 31 – Tyler Sapida scored 18 points and Owen Dumbroski produced 14 as Serra Catholic (10-1, 3-0) defeated St. Joseph (6-5, 2-1) in Section 2-A. John Marino scored nine points for the Spartans.

Sewickley Academy 70, Propel Braddock Hills 23 – Rob Southall scored 19 points and Adam Ikamba added 13 to lead Sewickley Academy (8-1, 4-0) past Propel Braddock Hills (1-11, 0-4) in Section 2-2A.

Shady Side Academy 69, Apollo-Ridge 29 – Seamus Riordan led all scorers with 17 points and Ben Michaels scored 12 as Shady Side Academy (3-8, 1-1) beat Apollo-Ridge (3-10, 0-3) in Section 3-3A. Zane Beatty had 14 points for the Vikings.

South Allegheny 72, Seton LaSalle 41 – Josh Jackowski scored 23 points, Drew Cook had 18 and Cam Epps added 13 to lead South Allegheny (11-1, 3-0) to a Section 3-3A win. Patrick Weldon scored 12 points and Keenu Brooks had 11 for Seton LaSalle (3-9, 1-2).

South Park 41, Steel Valley 23 – Cooper Hochendoner scored 14 points and Luke Scarff added 12 for South Park (9-2, 2-0) in a Section 3-3A win over Steel Valley (3-9, 1-2).

South Side 63, Laurel 33 – Andrew Corfield led all scorers with 17 points, Carter Wilson dropped 15 and RJ Fischer added 13 for South Side (8-4, 3-2) in a Section 4-2A win. Vern Sipe and Mason Ernst scored 12 points apiece for Laurel (6-6, 0-4).

Southmoreland 72, Waynesburg 62 – Noah Felentzer scored 24 points, Ty Whoric produced 15, Brady Sherbondy added 12 and Stanley Chapman followed with 11 for Southmoreland (9-2, 2-0) in a Section 4-3A. Cole Headlee scored 18, Alex VanSickle had 17 and Alex Eck dropped 10 for Waynesburg (1-8, 1-1).

Union 55, Rochester 26 – Lucas Stanley dropped 28 points and made four 3-pointers as Union (10-3, 4-1) beat Rochester (4-8, 1-4) in Section 4-2A. Nate Bills scored 10 points to lead the Rams.

Uniontown 82, Gateway 73 – Isaac Ellsworth (25), Kelan Milsom (22) and Notorious Grooms (21) all topped 20 points in a Uniontown (10-3, 5-0) win in Section 1-5A. Calvin Winfrey added 14. Mykel Bruce-McCrommon scored 25 and Jax Vovaris added 15 for Gateway (5-6, 3-2).

Woodland Hills 43, North Allegheny 39 – Scoop Smith powered Woodland Hills (5-6, 1-4) with 30 points as the Wolverines bested North Allegheny (5-6, 1-4) in Section 1-6A. Carter Melzer and Jon Jubeck each scored 11 points for the Tigers.

Girls basketball

Allderdice 69, Brashear 15 – Bailey White scored 22 points to lead four players in double figures for Allderdice (8-5, 2-0) in a City League win. Peyton Lynch added 12, Rhyan Sledge 11 and Seena Teshome 10. Sa’Naja Hendley led Brashear (2-3, 0-2) with eight points.

Baldwin 83, Uniontown 13 – Lynsey Bernotas scored 16 points, Julianne Ott followed with 13 and Mary Vargo and Hannah Prilla each scored 10 as Baldwin (6-6, 2-2) routed Uniontown (4-6, 1-3) in Section 4-5A.

Canon-McMillan 51, Hempfield 32 – Sam Miller and Lauren Borella scored 14 points each and Madison Clair added 11 to lead Canon-McMillan (7-5, 2-1) to a Section 2-6A win. Mads Pevarnik scored 11 for Hempfield (7-4, 1-2), which led 21-18 at halftime.

Clairton 83, Avella 41 – Iyanna Wade produced 54 points to power Clairton (7-2, 5-0) over Avella (6-6, 2-3) in Section 2-A. Ava Frank and Syd Strope scored 19 points apiece for the Eagles.

Ellwood City 68, Sto-Rox 44 – Delaney Sturgeon scored 27 points and Kayla Jones followed with 22 to lead Ellwood City (7-4, 3-2) to a Section 1-3A win. Caitlin Kreitzer added 17 for the Wolverines. Brooklyn Sykes scored 14 and Rae Johnston had 13 for Sto-Rox (6-6, 1-4).

Fox Chapel 59, Armstrong 41 – Lyla Jablon (22) and Natalie Schaffer (18) combined for 40 points for Fox Chapel (8-4, 3-1) in a Section 1-5A win. Marlo Mellish scored 15 points for Armstrong (2-9, 1-4).

Franklin Regional 62, Greensburg Salem 39 – Addison Musto scored 20 points and Anna Novelli had 10 to lead Franklin Regional (7-5) to a nonsection win. Mya Heasley scored 14 points for Greensburg Salem (7-5).

Hopewell 53, Ambridge 8 – Avery Boyd scored 11 points and Addison Blosnick had 10 for Hopewell (2-8, 1-3) in a Section 2-4A win over Ambridge (1-7, 0-4).

Indiana 48, Latrobe 44 – Addy Hutton scored 12 points to lead Indiana (10-2, 4-0) to a Section 2-5A win over Latrobe (7-6, 3-2). Brianna Havrilla scored 17 points and sank five 3-pointers and Maggie Maiers added 12 for the Wildcats.

McGuffey 52, Waynesburg 34 – Lexi Ewig scored 15 points and had six steals and Taylor Schumacher added 15 points and six rebounds to lead McGuffey (8-4, 3-1) to a Section 3-3A win against Waynesburg (6-4, 2-2). Avery Davis led the Raiders with 21 points.

Mt. Lebanon 53, Connellsville 31 – Payton Collins scored 20 points to lead Mt. Lebanon (7-4, 2-1) to a Section 2-6A win. Natalie Jacobs scored nine points for Connellsville (3-10, 0-3).

Mt. Pleasant 44, Southmoreland 23 – Morgan Gesinski scored 12 points to lead Mt. Pleasant (1-10, 1-4) to a Section 3-4A win. Olivia Aumer scored nine points for Southmoreland (3-9, 1-4).

Oakland Catholic 70, Valley 37 – Zephania Troxler-Scott scored 12 points to lead Oakland Catholic (8-2, 4-1) to a Section 1-4A victory. Trinity Ingram led Valley (1-11, 0-5) with 13 points.

Penn-Trafford 66, McKeesport 31 – Led by 14 points from Torrie DeStefano, 11 from Kamryn Pieper and 10 from Lauren Marton, Penn-Trafford (11-0, 4-0) picked up a Section 2-5A win. Emily Eisenberg led McKeesport (3-9, 1-4) with nine points.

Peters Township 61, Albert Gallatin 29 – Natalie Wetzel scored 21 points and Bri Morreale contributed 13 in a Section 4-5A win for Peters Township (11-1, 4-0). Mya Glisan led Albert Gallatin (4-6, 0-5) with nine points.

Plum 39, Penn Hills 29 – Riley Stephans (23) and Tamia West (16) scored all 39 points for Plum (3-7, 2-2) in a Section 1-5A win. Milani Oliver scored 13 and Cara Crawford added 12 for Penn Hills (1-9, 1-3).

Serra Catholic 69, Monessen 32 – Bella Dumbroski dropped 29 points and Abby Genes followed with 24 as Serra Catholic (5-5, 4-1) rolled to a Section 2-1A win. Na’Jaziah Carter scored 17 and Madison Johnson added 12 points for Monessen (3-6, 1-4).

South Park 54, Ringgold 16 – Reese Recker and Bella Stromberg each scored 11 points and Andrea Kuczma finished with 10 as South Park (7-2, 4-0) cruised to a Section 3-4A win. Alayna Macico led Ringgold (6-4, 0-3) with 10 points.

Thomas Jefferson 75, Bethel Park 36 – Maggie Spell scored 22 points, Kaylee DeAngelo had 17 and Emma Altavilla and Allie Wilson added 10 points apiece to lead Thomas Jefferson (12-1, 4-1) to a Section 4-5A win. Sadie Orie scored 14 points and Kat Boff had 11 for Bethel Park (6-6, 3-1).

Hockey

Armstrong 4, Cathedral Prep 3 – Evan Heilman, Jake Graff, Jason Rullo and Joshua Rullo scored to lead Armstrong (7-6) to a Class 2A win over Cathedral Prep (9-3). Ethan Cunningham, Hyatt Hetz and Chris Bruschi each tallied a goal for the Ramblers.

Avonworth 13, Richland 1 – Cooper Powell had a hat trick and added an assist, Conner Ralston collected two goals and three assists and Jack Dolan had two goals and two assists to lead Avonworth (9-3-1) to a Class A win. Mitch Timcik scored for Richland (1-13).

Montour 10, Westmont Hilltop 6 – Thomas Barefoot scored five goals and had two assists, Aiden Moskovitz scored four goals and Niki Sikorski had a goal and two assists as Montour (10-4) beat Westmont Hilltop (0-12-1-1) in Class A. Connor Jones had a hat trick and Cullen Carlson scored a pair of goals for the Hilltoppers.

Penn-Trafford 7, Canon-McMillan 6 (OT) – Drew Hall scored two goals, including the overtime winner, to lift Penn-Trafford (12-2-1) past Canon-McMillan (3–8-1) in Class 2A. Aiden Drotos scored two goals while Ben Zierski, Roman Catello and Marco Ferraccio each added a goal for Penn-Trafford. Carson O’Donoghue and Michael Traynor each scored a pair of goals while AJ Graziani and Austin Smith added a goal apiece for Canon-McMillan.

Wrestling

Burrell 73, Hempfield 0 – Burrell (3-0) used eight pins to beat Hempfield (1-4) in a nonsection match at Seton Hill. Calio Zanella (152), Benjamin Catullo (160), Isaac lacinski (172), Logan Shank (189), Ayden Kun (285), Cameron Baker (127), Julian Bertucci (139) and Cadyn Crawford (145) had pins. Carter Thomas (121) won by major decision.
