High school roundup for Nov. 25, 2025: Peters Township tops Mt. Lebanon

Jacob Hlawati and Brady Holleran each had a goal and assist to help Peters Township secure a 3-1 victory over Mt. Lebanon (1-5-1-1) in a PIHL Class 3A game Tuesday night at Printscape Arena at Southpointe.

Nicholas Caputo added a goal, and Domenic Yosi, Blake Evancic, Carter Meneely and Zackary Meneely had assists for the Indians (6-2-0-1).

Anthony Herman made 22 saves in the win.

Ben Kurta scored for Mt. Lebanon.

Butler 10, Wheeling Catholic 1 — Jase Renwick had a hat trick and Aden Devore added two goals and two assists as Butler (6-1-1) rolled to a PIHL Class A win over Wheeling Catholic (0-5-0-1). Corbin Holt made six saves to earn the win.

Canon-McMillan 6, Beaver 0 — In a PIHL Class A game, Rocco Musto scored twice, and Tristan Bobbs, Grayson Costa and Elliot Moser all had two assists to lift Canon-McMillan (7-0) past Beaver (1-6-1). Digby Bedner, Brayden Edgar, Michael Traynor and Brenden Lomago also scored. Aiden Bobbs made 12 saves in the shutout.

Hempfield 10, Cathedral Prep 2 — Guerin Gardner and Mats Martz each had four points to help Hempfield to a victory over Cathedral Prep (1-6-0-1) in a PIHL Class 2A game.

Gardner had two goals and two assists, and Martz added a goal and three assists. Colby Herron and Evan Dunlap had two goals apiece. Nino DiPietro had a goal and three assists, and Jonathan Holtzman added a goal and assist. JJ Williams also scored for the Spartans (7-2-0-0-1).

Evan Saltzgiver made 12 saves to earn the win.

Mars 12, Westmont Hilltop 0 — Max Pitkins, Garrett Myers and Michael Demarco each had two goals, and Xavier Bossola had a goal and three assists to lead Mars (8-0-0-1) to a PIHL Class A victory over Westmont Hilltop (0-7). Carter Gallagher made nine saves to earn the shutout.

Penn-Trafford 5, Bishop McCort 2 — Sean Goodman’s three goals lifted first-place Penn-Trafford (8-1) to a Class 2A win over Bishop McCort (5-4-1-0-1). Zach Grkman had a goal and assist, and Liam Lehneke added a goal. Ben Zierski ad two assists. Tyler Funk made 30 saves in the victory.
