High school roundup for Nov. 3, 2025: Tucker Cullen completes hat trick in OT for Fox Chapel

Tucker Cullen’s third goal of the game was the overtime winner, lifting Fox Chapel to a 5-4 victory over Franklin Regional in PIHL Class 3A hockey Monday night.

Spencer Goehring had a goal and an assist and Niko Vavpetic also scored for Fox Chapel (3-4). Ryan Crouse had two goals and an assist and Liam Murphy and Brendan Yohe also scored for Franklin Regional (1-3-1).

Central Catholic 6, Thomas Jefferson 3 – Cain Phillips had two goals and an assist and Judah Brophy finished with a goal and two assists to lead Central Catholic (4-1-1) to a Class 3A win. Julian Lappe, Brayden Lewinter and Domenic Ventura also scored for Central Catholic. Cam Lorenzi had two goals and Owen Michael also scored for Thomas Jefferson (3-3).

Montour 4, Hampton 3 (OT) – Trey Varga had two goals and an assist, including the overtime winner, to lead Montour (2-3-1) to a Class A win. Braden Kulak and Luke Zacharias also scored for Montour. Dillon Fogle had two goals and an assist and Jonah Gynn also scored for Hampton (3-1-1).

Moon 5, Meadville 4 – Gio Thompson scored two goals in the first seven minutes of the third period to lead Moon (6-1-1) to a comeback victory in Class A. David Gallup had two goals and an assist and Ryan Muldowney also scored for Moon. Patrick Mahoney scored twice for Meadville (2-2-2).

Neshannock 5, Sewickley Academy 0 – Jacob Gruber had two goals and an assist and Nolan Wilson made 17 saves to lead Neshannock (6-0) to a shutout victory over Sewickley Academy (1-5) in Division 2. Christopher Johns, Cole Chornick and Asher Sumner also scored.

Penn-Trafford 8, Baldwin 1 – Brock Bienemann collected two goals and two assists and Sean Goodman added two goals and an assist to power Penn-Trafford to a Class 2A victory. Rylan Kiste, Ben Zierski and Zach Grkman each had a goal and an assist for Penn-Trafford (5-1). Radek Miklancie scored for Baldwin (2-4).

Pine-Richland 4, Mt. Lebanon 2 – Jackson Naik and Liam Voit scored in the final minute of regulation to power Pine-Richland (2-3-1) to a Class 3A win. Cullen Campbell scored the tying goal earlier in the third and Benjamin Walter also scored for Pine-Richland. Graham Resler and Xavier Bias scored to give Mt. Lebanon (1-4) a 2-0 lead.

Quaker Valley 12, Richland 2 – Ben McHenry racked up three goals and three assists to lead Quaker Valley (6-1) to a Class A win. Kieran Cain had two goals and an assist, Stefan Mauer also scored twice and Luke Koehler had a goal and three assists for QV. Mitch Timcik scored twice for Richland (0-4).
