Freeport entered the WPIAL Class 2A girls soccer playoffs winners of eight in a row, and the fourth-seeded Yellowjackets added to that streak Tuesday in a first-round matchup against No. 13 Beaver.

Woods’ first goal, her 30th of the season, came off an assist from sophomore Peyton Los with 21 minutes, 47 seconds left until halftime. Woods then took a corner kick at the 17:27 mark, and her kick took a deflection in a grouping of players in front of the Beaver net and went in for the score.
