Kieran Shannon scored a pair of goals and Jordan Beemer was in net for the shutout, leading North Allegheny to a 4-0 victory over North Hills (2-1, 0-1) in Section 3-4A girls soccer Wednesday night. Luciana Zagacki and Bella Montgomery also scored for the Tigers (4-1-1, 1-0).

Beaver 2, Central Valley 2 (OT) – Jocie Biela and Mia Furda scored to help Beaver (2-3-1, 0-1-1) to a Section 3-2A draw with Central Valley (0-1-1, 0-0-1).

Bentworth 2, Waynesburg 0 – Brielle Dillon and Brina Orsatti scored and Julia Brandau recorded the shutout for Bentworth (3-1-1, 1-0) in a Section 2-A win over Waynesburg (3-1, 0-1).

Bishop Canevin 2, South Allegheny 1 – Isabella Sysak and Cali Evans scored to power Bishop Canevin (1-2, 1-1) to a Section 3-A win. Jazlyn Farnan scored for South Allegheny (0-3, 0-2).

Burrell 10, Valley 0 – Makiah Buchak scored a pair of goals to pace Burrell (2-1-1, 1-0-0) in a Section 2-2A shutout victory over Valley (0-2, 0-1). Adrianna Baronie, Sloan Bires, Carmen Bires, Laney Kaczor, Casey Brancato, Megan Barczykowski and Katie Koehler each added a goal for the Bucs.

Chartiers-Houston 2, Beth-Center 1 – Freshmen Payten Conner and Grace Littlecott each scored a goal in the second half to lead Chartiers-Houston (3-0, 1-0) to a Section 2-A win. Serena Durkin scored for Beth-Center (2-1, 0-1).

Deer Lakes 1, Yough 0 – Cadence Drum scored the winning goal and Mikayla Potter kept a clean sheet and saved a penalty kick in the first half to power Deer Lakes (4-0, 1-0) to a Section 4-2A win against Yough (0-3, 0-1).

Fox Chapel 10, Obama Academy 0 – Emily McKee had a hat trick for Fox Chapel (4-0) in a nonsection win over Obama Academy (1-4).

Franklin Regional 3, Indiana 0 – Alyssa Velasquez, Caitlyn Chinchock and Reese Regelski scored and Addison Ayres preserved the shutout as Franklin Regional (4-0, 3-0) defeated Indiana (0-5, 0-2) in Section 4-3A.

Freeport 3, Shady Side Academy 2 (OT) – Camryn Woods scored the game-winning goal and had an assist to propel Freeport (2-1, 1-0) to a Section 2-2A win. Nia DiSanti scored two goals and CeCe Schlegel had an assist for the Yellowjackets. Ella Van Norman and Sofia Petersson scored for Shady Side Academy (1-2, 0-1).

Kiski Area 6, Elizabeth Forward 3 – Ellie Arnold scored five goals and Addison Bell deposited one as Kiski Area (2-2, 2-1) doubled up Elizabeth Forward (1-2, 1-2) in Section 4-3A. Isabella Hemminger and Maicee Smith scored for the Warriors.

Mars 4, Gateway 1 – Jade Breese had a hat trick and Miley Gratton added a goal to lead Mars (4-1, 1-1) past Gateway (2-2, 1-1) in Section 1-3A.

Montour 6, Blackhawk 0 – Irelynn Hobbs scored two goals while Jocelyn Heckathorne, Kaci Mitcheltree, Brooklyn Young and Ava Domneico each added a goal as Montour (4-0, 2-0) blanked Blackhawk (0-3-1, 0-2-1) in Section 2-3A.

Moon 9, Bethel Park 0 – Quinn Arnold scored four goals, Anna Palm added three and Adriana D’Alesio and Madison Shaver had one apiece to lead Moon (4-0, 3-0) past Bethel Park (1-3, 1-1) in Section 2-3A.

North Catholic 2, Knoch 1 – Simone Sharpless scored both goals for North Catholic (4-1, 1-0) in a Section 2-2A win over Knoch (1-3, 0-1).

Penn-Trafford 4, Latrobe 3 – Emilie Oslosky scored a hat trick and Ellie Lebe had a goal and two assists to lead Penn-Trafford (1-2, 1-0) to a Section 1-4A win. Emerson Shine had two goals and Annalyse Bauer also scored for Latrobe (0-3, 0-1).

Peters Township 3, Canon-McMillan 2 (OT) – Katie Froelich netted the game-winner in overtime and Fallan Malley and Marina Hajnosz also scored to lead Peters Township (2-0-2, 1-0) past Canon-McMillan (2-2, 0-1) in Section 2-4A.

Pine-Richland 4, Butler 0 – Lily Rosenwasser, Lexi Hensel, Charlie Kline and Molly Baker scored to power Pine-Richland (5-0, 1-0) past Butler (2-2, 0-1) in Section 3-4A.

Plum 9, West Mifflin 0 – Gianna Revetta had four goals, Emily Grubich added two goals and an assist and Malayna Smith, Sophia Robinson and Lily Deluca combined on a shutout for Plum (4-0, 3-0) in a Section 4-3A win over West Mifflin (1-3, 0-2). Olivia Shafer, Keirstin Curry and Bella Mains also scored and Olivia Bigger had two assists for the Mustangs.

Quaker Valley 8, Ambridge 0 – Lily Baker scored a hat trick and Annabel Miko and Ari Bosh had two goals apiece for Quaker Valley (3-1, 1-0) in a Section 3-2A win over Ambridge (2-2, 0-1). Rowan Wallace also scored for the Quakers. Miko reached the 50-goal mark for her career.

Riverview 9, Apollo-Ridge 0 – Mary Quinlan recorded a hat trick, Mia Murphy and Hannah Hudack each scored a pair and Isabel Chaparro and Sienna Daley tallied a goal apiece as Riverview (3-0, 3-0) blanked Apollo-Ridge (0-3, 0-3) in Section 4-A. Maddy Martino kept a clean sheet for the Raiders.

Seneca Valley 5, Allderdice 0 – Cassie Leonard, Karly Majeski, Sophie Lawryk, Maddy Wooster and Izzy Yuhouse scored for Seneca Valley (1-1-2) in a nonsection win over Allderdice (4-1).

Seton LaSalle 3, Aquinas Academy 2 (OT) – Kennedy Bakota scored the overtime winner to send Seton LaSalle (3-1, 3-0) to a Section 3-A victory over Aquinas Academy (1-2, 1-2). Sydney Morgan and Elizabeth Sokos also scored and Kendall DeMarino had two assists for the Rebels.

Shaler 7, Penn Hills 1 – Addy Paladin scored a pair of goals to lead Shaler (2-1, 1-1) in Section 1-3A. Ava Alter scored for Penn Hills (0-3, 0-3).

South Fayette 10, Oakland Catholic 0 – Gabby Beinecke and Mia Deramo each scored two goals to lead South Fayette (3-1-1, 1-0) to a Section 3-3A win against Oakland Catholic (1-3, 0-1). Lily Chiappetta, Silvi Rossi, Emma Ferrari, Page Deklewa, Cameron Goldstein and Kate Morally each added a goal for the Lions.

Southmoreland 8, East Allegheny 0 – Megan Potoka recorded the shutout as Southmoreland (2-2-1, 1-0) defeated East Allegheny (0-1, 0-1) in Section 4-2A.

South Park 14, Steel Valley 0 – Arianna Beck led with four goals, Reese Recker followed with a hat trick and Berlin Washington and Mady Serechin added two goals apiece for South Park (5-0, 3-0) in a Section 1-2A win over Steel Valley (0-4, 0-2).

Springdale 1, Winchester Thurston 1 (OT) – Nothing was decided in a battle of the top two teams in the Trib HSSN Class A rankings. Jessie Kaufman scored for No. 2 Winchester Thurston (3-1-1, 1-0-1) and Tessa Derringer scored for No. 1 Springdale (2-0-1, 2-0-1) in a Section 4-A draw.

Thomas Jefferson 5, Laurel Highlands 2 – Sami Maglicco and Denika Bergman scored two goals apiece and Kamryn Marcinko also found the net as Thomas Jefferson (3-2, 1-0) defeated Laurel Highlands (1-1-1, 0-1) in Section 3-3A.

Upper St. Clair 6, Baldwin 1 – Helena Walker and Mary Mascaro had a goal and an assist each, Sierra Dupre, Callie Roberts, Avery Bayer and Audrey Bodamer also scored and Natalia Disora dealt out two assists to lead Upper St. Clair (4-0-1, 1-0) past Baldwin (0-3-1, 0-1) in Section 2-4A.

West Allegheny 1, Trinity 0 – Maddy Pons scored off an assist from Jocelyn Rosborough to lead West Allegheny (3-3, 2-0) past Trinity (0-2-2, 0-2-1) in Section 2-3A.

Serra Catholic 3, South Allegheny 1 – Tyler Graham scored two goals and Will Freiwald added one to lead Serra Catholic (1-2) past South Allegheny (1-3) in a nonsection match.

Girls volleyball

Jefferson-Morgan 3, Greensburg Central Catholic 0 – Ava Wood had eight kills and eight digs, Mallory McManis added 10 digs and nine assists and Emilee Bazzoli finished with 17 digs to lead Jefferson-Morgan (2-1) to a nonsection win over Greensburg Central Catholic (0-2).

Boys golf

Greensburg Salem 178, East Allegheny 219 – Luke Sikora shot a 1-under par 33, including a hole-in-one on the 125-yard ninth hole at Grand View GC, to lead Greensburg Salem to a Section 2-2A win.
