Lilly Snyder, Lauren Muhana and Julia Shaver scored to lead Moon to a 3-2 victory over Bethel Park in Section 2-3A girls soccer Wednesday night.

Kendall Dydek, Ally D’Alesio and Emma Marquis added assists for the Tigers (3-0, 3-0). Callee Dalbon and Keira Mehalko scored as Bethel Park (2-2-1, 1-2) rallied from a three-goal deficit.

Ambridge 3, Freedom 1 – Norah Marchionda, Mikayla Wetzel and Kat Benkowski scored to lead Ambridge (3-2) past Freedom (2-2) in a nonsection win.

Avonworth 2, Central Valley 1 (OT) – Alessia Padalino scored twice, including the game-winning goal in overtime, to propel Avonworth (2-2-1, 2-0) to a Section 3-2A win over Central Valley (2-3, 0-2).

Belle Vernon 3, Ringgold 0 – Ava Scalise scored two goals and Grace West added another to lead Belle Vernon (3-3, 2-1) past Ringgold (2-2, 1-2) in Section 1-2A.

Bentworth 2, Waynesburg 1 – Bella Moyer and Brielle Dillon scored for Bentworth (4-0, 1-0) in a Section 2-A win over Waynesburg (3-1, 0-1).

Burrell 8, Valley 0 – Maggie Nesko and Leah Waldsmith scored two goals apiece for Burrell (3-0-1, 1-0) in a Section 2-2A win over Valley (1-2, 0-1). Miley Kariotis, Makiah Buchak, Parker Moore and Megan Barczykowski added a goal apiece for the Bucs.

Chartiers-Houston 7, Beth-Center 0 – Amelia Brose led Chartiers-Houston (2-0, 1-0) with four goals and Ava Capozzoli added three in a Section 2-A win over Beth-Center (1-2, 0-1).

Deer Lakes 5, Yough 0 – Claire Cacurak and Tessa Hollibaugh had two goals apiece, Reese Waruszewski also scored, and Mikayla Potter preserved the shutout for Deer Lakes (2-2, 1-0) in a Section 4-2A win over Yough (3-2, 0-1).

Eden Christian 5, OLSH 1 – Lara DeFazio scored two goals and Allie Emswiler converted a penalty kick to lead Eden Christian (2-2-1, 2-0-1) to a Section 1-A win over OLSH (1-3, 1-2).

Ellis School 8, Jeannette 1 – Emily Hummert and Sonia Palit scored two goals apiece to lead Ellis School (1-2, 1-2) to a Section 4-A win over Jeannette (0-1, 0-1). Talia Dubowitz, Marley Ervin, Akiera King and Harper Kuzmanko also scored for Ellis.

Fox Chapel 10, Obama Academy 0 – Maddie Grimsley and Emily McKee each scored two goals and had two assists to lead Fox Chapel (4-0, 3-0) to a Section 1-3A win over Obama Academy (1-2, 0-2).

Franklin Regional 2, Indiana 0 – Reilly Weaver scored both goals, Eden Williams and Eliana Canfield dished out assists, and Addison Ayres recorded the shutout as Franklin Regional (2-3, 2-1) defeated Indiana (1-4, 1-1) in Section 4-3A.

Freeport 3, Shady Side Academy 0 – Nia DiSanti had a goal and an assist and Camryn Woods and Peyton Los also scored to lead Freeport (3-0, 1-0) past Shady Side Academy (1-3, 0-1) in Section 2-2A. Alyssa Alcorn made four saves to preserve the shutout.

Kiski Area 2, Elizabeth Forward 1 – Ellie Arnold scored both goals to lead Kiski Area (2-3, 2-1) to a Section 4-3A win. Mia Valerio scored for Elizabeth Forward (1-2, 1-2).

Montour 3, Blackhawk 0 – Grace Bannon had a pair of goals and Sarah Meldon also scored to carry Montour (3-1, 2-0) to a Section 2-3A win over Blackhawk (1-4, 1-2).

Mt. Lebanon 6, Connellsville 0 – Lily Schaerli scored a pair of goals while Becca Braunsdorf, Serena Kavalir, Bess Dunglinson and Lucy Pryor each added a goal as Mt. Lebanon (4-0-1, 1-0) beat Connellsville (4-3, 0-1) in Section 2-4A.

Mt. Pleasant 10, Ligonier Valley 0 – Morgan Gesinski scored a hat trick and Rylin Bugosh and Isabel Overly each added a pair of goals to lead Mt. Pleasant (3-0, 1-0) to a Section 4-2A shutout victory against Ligonier Valley (1-2, 0-1). Addison Czekaj, Brooklyn Ulery and Camryn Kapr each netted a goal for the Vikings.

North Allegheny 6, North Hills 0 – Emma Schupansky scored two goals and Maggie Nestor recorded the shutout to lead North Allegheny (2-1, 1-0) to a Section 3-4A win over North Hills 1-3, 0-1). Maddie Miller, Bella Montgomery, Rowan Bassotti and Averie Bierker also scored.

North Catholic 2, Knoch 0 – Lauren Mealie and Simone Sharpless scored, Kathleen Virostek handed out an assist, and Riley Marsico and Marina Comino combined on the shutout as North Catholic (5-0, 1-0) blanked Knoch (0-4-1, 0-1) in Section 2-2A.

Peters Township 4, Canon McMillan 2 – Taylor McCullough, Julia Spergel, Addie Pirosko and Ava Hajnosz scored for Peters Township (4-0, 1-0) in a Section 2-4A win against Canon-McMillan (2-1, 0-1).

Plum 8, West Mifflin 0 – Emily Grubich had two goals and two assists while Gianna Revetta added two goals and one assist as Plum (4-0, 3-0) recorded its fourth straight shutout to open the season in a Section 4-3A win over West Mifflin (1-2, 0-2). Allison Porter, Olivia Bigger, Serena Carnahan and Meghan Stammer each added a goal and the duo of Makenna Anderson and Malayna Smith combined on the shutout for the Mustangs.

Quaker Valley 3, Hopewell 0 – Annabel Miko netted a pair and Mia Modrovich scored once to lead Quaker Valley (4-0-1, 2-0) past Hopewell (0-3, 0-3) in Section 3-2A.

Riverview 4, Apollo-Ridge 0 – Alix Delsaut, Juliette Brun, Katerina Tsambis and Lyla Flanick scored for Riverview (3-0, 3-0) in a Section 4-A win over Apollo-Ridge (0-3, 0-3). Hannah Hudack had two assists for the Raiders.

Seneca Valley 10, Allderdice 1 – Bella Gianfrancesco scored a hat trick for Seneca Valley (3-2, 1-0) in a Section 3-4A win over Allderdice (1-2, 0-1).

Seton LaSalle 2, Aquinas Academy 1 – Angelina McGrath and Torri Carter scored for Seton LaSalle (3-1-1, 3-0-0) in a Section 3-A victory against Aquinas Academy (1-2, 1-2).

Sewickley Academy 8, Serra Catholic 0 – Emma Eannarino scored a hat trick to power Sewickley Academy (2-0, 2-0) to a Section 3-A win over Serra Catholic (0-3, 0-3).

Shaler 12, Penn Hills 0 – Naudia Zotter had a hat trick for Shaler (2-1, 1-1) in a Section 1-3A win over Penn Hills (0-3-1, 0-3).

South Park 15, Steel Valley 0 – Madelynn Serechin led South Park (3-2, 3-0) with four goals in a Section 1-2A win over Steel Valley (1-3, 0-2). Alicia Riberich, Addison Kerr, Taylor Vargo and Hayley Bennett added two goals apiece for the Eagles.

Southmoreland 10, East Allegheny 0 – Aubrey Seder had a hat trick for Southmoreland (3-2, 1-0) in a Section 4-2A win over East Allegheny (1-1, 0-1). Sayde Premus, Megan Mehall, Gia VanDyke, Ella McClain, Ashley Seder, Caylin Raymond and Addie Jordan also scored for the Scotties.

Springdale 4, Winchester Thurston 0 – Bri Ross had two goals and two assists, Carissa Walsh added a goal and an assist and Molly Hurley also scored to lead Springdale (3-0, 3-0) to a Section 4-A win over Winchester Thurston (2-2, 1-1). Baleigh Haas recorded the shutout.

Thomas Jefferson 7, Laurel Highlands 0 – Kamryn Marcinski had a hat trick, Sami Maglicco scored twice and Olivia Della Lucia and Aislin Majoris each added a goal for Thomas Jefferson (2-1, 1-0) in a Section 3-3A win over Laurel Highlands (1-2, 0-1). Nyla Kiral, Annmarie Graham and Ali King combined on the shutout.

Upper St. Clair 2, Baldwin 0 – Sierra Dupre and Abby Mascaro scored and Chloe Bird had an assist as Upper St. Clair (4-0, 1-0) beat Baldwin (2-3, 0-1) in Section 2-4A.

West Allegheny 8, Trinity 1 – Chloe Hart recorded a hat trick and Kylie Holtz added two goals and two assists as West Allegheny (3-1-1, 2-0) rolled to a Section 2-3A victory over Trinity (0-3, 0-3). Olivia DeLuca, Kassidy Knaus and Ella Smith each netted a goal for the Indians. Chloe Makola scored for the Hillers.

Boys soccer

Allderdice 1, Montour 0 (OT) – Aidan Thomas scored, assisted by Dan Mrsic, to lead Allderdice (2-2-1) past Montour (4-1) in a nonsection win. Ozan Matveiev recorded the shutout.

Brentwood 11, Valley 0 – Carlos Duran scored four goals and Chris Lopez had a hat trick to lead Brentwood (3-0) to a nonsection win over Valley (0-3).

Girls volleyball

Leechburg 3, Geibel 0 – Addie Zanotto had seven kills and five aces and Ava Ferretti added five kills to lead Leechburg (1-2) to a nonsection win. Abi Rollinger and Elsa Zalenski each recorded three kills for the Blue Devils.
