Nicolas Squeglia converted a penalty kick in overtime to lead Fox Chapel to a 2-1 win over Seneca Valley in a matchup of top teams in Section 3-4A boys soccer Tuesday night.
In regulation, Rocco Didomenico scored for the Foxes (5-1, 2-0) and Owen Eastgate scored for Seneca Valley (6-1, 1-1).
Avonworth 7, Keystone Oaks 0 – Jimmy Quinn scored four goals to power Avonworth (5-1, 3-1) past Keystone Oaks (1-3, 1-3) in Section 2-2A. Cody Cwynar had a goal and three assists, Nate Kline added a goal and an assist, Sanoussy Barry also scored and Hudson Boyd recorded the shutout.
Beaver 3, Hopewell 0 – Caleb Kullen and Ryan Perez each had a goal and an assist and Shane Ebbitt also scored to lead Beaver (5-0, 5-0) past Hopewell (0-3, 0-2) in Section 2-2A.
Beaver County Christian 3, Neshannock 0 – Jonah Bosch and Ethan Guevara scored goals, Zach Stephens converted a penalty kick and Mike Lanigan made six saves for his fourth shutout as Beaver County Christian (5-0, 2-0) defeated Neshannock (5-1-1, 0-1-1) in Section 1-A. Cole Stroupe and Liam Birchler had assists.
Bentworth 19, California 0 – Adam Moessner scored four goals, Ryan Moessner recorded a hat trick and Andrew Humbertson added a brace to lead Bentworth (6-0, 3-0) to a rout of California (0-2, 0-2) in Section 2-A. Ten other Bentworth players chipped in with a goal.
Bethel Park 8, Albert Gallatin 0 – Rowan Darr scored twice, Youssef Benrabia had a goal and two assists and Luke Rubican and Jacob Coffield combined on the shutout as Bethel Park (3-1-1, 3-0-1) beat Albert Gallatin (1-5, 0-4) in Section 2-3A. Cooper Kicinski, Xavier Jackson, Thomas Opferman, Jason Koerbel and Eli McCullough also scored for the Black Hawks.
Charleroi 16, Brownsville 1 – Dylan Klinger had five goals and three assists, Blake Pendo and Otis McIntyre each added three goals and three assists and Logan Barcus finished with two goals and three assists to lead Charleroi (5-1, 4-0) past Brownsville (1-6, 0-4) in Section 4-2A.
Chartiers-Houston 6, Greensburg Central Catholic 1 – Ashton Kennedy scored two goals and Treigh McIlvaine had two assists to help Chartiers-Houston (4-4, 1-2) to a Section 2-A win over Greensburg Central Catholic (0-3, 0-2). Josh Hawkins, Joshua Mayan, Jhersson Cruz and Maksim Petronka also scored for the Bucs.
Deer Lakes 11, Burrell 0 – Collin Rodgers had two goals and two assists and Wesley Boyle and Callen Sabow combined on the shutout as Deer Lakes (5-2, 4-0) blanked Burrell (2-4, 2-2) in Section 1-2A. Cuyler Crim had two goals and an assist and Artemey Parshyn also scored twice. Zane Spence had a goal and two assists, Peyton Kushon and Jake Orseno each added a goal and assist and Ryan Liggett and Jack Alcorn also scored for the Lancers.
Eden Christian 3, South Side 0 – Jason Rice scored all three goals to power Eden Christian (2-4, 1-1) to a Section 1-A shutout win over South Side (2-4-1, 0-2).
Elizabeth Forward 8, East Allegheny 0 – Nick Moffa and Cooper Weagley combined on the shutout and seven players scored for Elizabeth Forward (3-3, 3-1) in a Section 3-2A win over East Allegheny (0-4, 0-4). Goal scorers were Vinny Riccardi, Luca Valerio, Landon Galloway, Chaz Crea, Levi George, Aidan Davis and Nate Grimm.
Freeport 10, Valley 0 – Spencer Valasek led the attack for Freeport (4-2, 2-2) with a pair of goals and Henry Good kept a clean sheet in net as the Yellowjackets cruised to a Section 1-2A win over Valley (0-4-1, 0-3-1). Ryan Sutara, Easton Smith, Carson Rowley, Caleb Pasarelli, Maddox Morrison, Dante Treglia, Liam Dunn and Eli Hassler each added a goal for Freeport.
Hampton 9, Armstrong 1 – Xavier Ware and Matteo Sciulli had hat tricks, Mason Hall had a goal and an assist and Christian Kornick and Logan Winters also scored to lead Hampton (3-1-1, 2-0-1) past Armstrong (2-4, 1-2) in Section 1-3A. Carson Colvin dished out three assists.
Hempfield 1, Penn Hills 0 – Braden Crowe scored a second-half goal, with an assist from Tyler Gilpin, and Nicholas Harden earned the shutout as Hempfield (2-4, 1-1) got past Penn Hills (2-4-1, 1-1) in Section 1-4A.
Highlands 9, Leechburg 1 – Ryan Maloney had four goals and three assists and Brady Celko added three goals and two assists to power Highlands (2-2, 2-2) past Leechburg (0-5-1, 0-3-1) in Section 1-2A. Jackson Babinsack and Ty Hall also scored for the Golden Rams.
Montour 1, West Allegheny 0 – Dom Passaro scored the winning goal to lead Montour (5-2, 3-1) past West Allegheny (1-4, 1-2) in Section 4-3A. Brayden Borris had the assist and Liam Hovanic made nine saves to earn the shutout in goal.
Mt. Lebanon 3, Upper St. Clair 0 – Ignatios Darakos scored twice and Benton Thompson also had a goal to send Mt. Lebanon (5-2, 1-1) past Upper St. Clair (1-5, 1-1) in Section 2-4A.
North Allegheny 5, Pine-Richland 1 – Elliott Swierczynski, Francis Randiga, Leo Yu, Graham Kunz and Owen Lopresti scored to send North Allegheny (4-1-2, 1-0-1) to a Section 3-4A win. Sammy Buse scored for Pine-Richland (3-3-1, 0-2).
North Catholic 3, Shady Side Academy 1 – Angelo Amelio scored twice and Gabe Nonino added a goal to power North Catholic (5-1-1, 3-1) past Shady Side Academy (2-3, 2-2) in Section 1-2A.
Mt. Pleasant 5, Greensburg Salem 0 – Tyke Snyder had two goals, Austyn Gross and Grant Zahrobsky also scored and Grayson Gardner preserved the shutout for Mt. Pleasant (5-1, 4-0) in a Section 4-2A win over Greensburg Salem (1-6, 0-3).

Seton LaSalle 1, McGuffey 0 – Tyler Kovalcik scored the decisive goal and Charlie Kicinski preserved the shutout to lead Seton LaSalle (7-0, 4-0) past McGuffey (5-2, 2-2) in Section 3-2A.

Beaver 3, Lincoln Park 0 – Jaedyn Brown had eight kills and seven digs, Kailyn Connelly also had eight kills and Gianna Yaria added six kills and two aces to lead Beaver (5-0, 1-0) past Lincoln Park (2-2, 0-1) in Section 4-3A. Aubrey Bumblis finished with 15 digs and four aces and Kayden Blinn racked up 27 assists, two kills, six digs and eight aces for the Bobcats.
Brownsville 3, Charleroi 0 – Skyler Gates had 18 kills and three blocks while Kenzie Adams recorded 16 assists and Ashley Evanchak had 13 digs to lead Brownsville (6-0, 3-0) to a Section 3-2A win against Charleroi (0-4, 0-3).
Canon-McMillan 3, Mt. Lebanon 0 – Natalie Carr recorded 15 kills and seven aces, Carsen Brown dished out 14 assists, Katie Wing followed with nine assists and Aurora Shirdon racked up 12 digs as Canon-McMillan (4-0, 1-0) swept Mt. Lebanon (0-4, 0-1) in Section 1-4A.
Frazier 3, Geibel Catholic 0 – Maddie Salisbury had 12 kills and Allie Monack handed out 16 assists to lead Frazier (4-1, 2-0) to a Section 4-A win over Geibel Catholic (1-6, 0-1). Morgan Fisher added nine kills and 12 assists and Addison Hiles had six digs for the Commodores.
Hempfield 3, Norwin 1 – Ella Berkebile had 16 kills, Lauren Howard recorded 20 digs and Preslee Horchak handed out 39 assists to lead Hempfield (3-1, 1-0) past Norwin (2-4, 0-1) in Section 3-4A. Gabby Coccia had nine kills and nine blocks, Claire Mitchell added nine kills and Jillian Sowers finished with 24 digs for the Spartans.
Indiana 3, Derry 2 – Paige Fisanich had 25 kills, including the 500th of her career, to lead Indiana (5-0, 3-0) past Derry (4-2, 2-1) in Section 5-3A. Chloe Hain dished out 23 assists, Rylin Blystine had five digs, Allison Lichtenfels finished with seven kills and Hannah Stone collected five kills and 12 assists for Indiana.
Ligonier Valley 3, Neighborhood Academy 0 – Rylee Monticue had seven kills and six assists, Marlee Miller added six kills and Abby McCann collected five kills, eight assists and six aces to lead Ligonier Valley (1-3, 1-0) past Neighborhood Academy (5-1, 0-1) in Section 5-2A. Haileigh Ross also had five kills for the Rams.
Mars 3, Hampton 0 – Cecilia Christy had 15 kills to go along with three blocks, Rylee Wooldridge had 12 kills and 12 digs and Gabi Weidemann had 15 digs and handed out 35 assists as Mars (4-2, 1-0) swept Hampton (1-3, 0-1) in Section 2-3A.
Mohawk 3, Ellwood City 0 – Marli McBride had seven kills and Riley Shaffer dished out 11 assists to lead Mohawk (4-1, 2-0) past Ellwood City (1-5, 0-3) in Section 4-2A. Emme Druschel added five kills and three blocks and Macey Tanner had seven assists for the Warriors.
South Allegheny 3, Steel Valley 0 – Ally Chizmar had five aces to go along with nine kills while Regan McBeth had a team-high 11 kills to lead South Allegheny (4-1, 3-0) past Steel Valley (0-4, 0-3) in Section 2-2A. Ava Brown contributed three kills, one ace and three blocks in the win for the Gladiators.
St. Joseph 3, Aquinas Academy 2 – Kate Giannetta racked up 23 kills, 70 digs and eight aces to send St. Joseph (3-2, 1-0) to a five-set win over Aquinas Academy (1-2, 0-1). Kenzie Jones had 22 kills and 26 digs and Jillian Bloch finished with 49 digs for the Spartans.
West Mifflin 3, McKeesport 2 – May Fenwick had six kills and Rosalyn Ross added four kills to help West Mifflin (3-3, 1-1) past McKeesport (2-3, 0-3) in Section 5-3A.
