Two of the WPIAL’s premier playmakers have also been recognized as two of the best in the nation.

Senior Adam Kuchera of Canon-McMillan and Fox Chapel junior Emily McKee were lauded as All-Americans by the United Soccer Coaches organization.

Kuchera, a midfielder who can attack or hold, was the WPIAL Class 4A player of the year. He had 20 goals for the Big Macs, who reached the WPIAL quarterfinals.

He also earned All-East Region honors, as well as being named All-WPIAL and all-state.

McKee captured just about every postseason honor available. The forward was the Moe Rosensteel Most Outstanding Player Award recipient after scoring 49 goals and leading Fox Chapel (20-2-1) to a WPIAL 3A championship and the PIAA quarterfinals.

McKee, a Pitt commit, also was an all-region, All-WPIAL and all-state pick.
