Latrobe junior wrestler Willochell commits to Edinboro

Latrobe’s Gabe Willochell wrestles Penn Hills’ Justin Perkins in the 132-pound quarterfinal at the WPIAL Class 3A individual tournament Friday, March 1, 2019 at Canon-McMillan High School.
Latrobe junior Gabe Willochell announced on Twitter on Monday that he committed to wrestle at Edinboro.
The Fighting Scots are a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and Mid-American Conference in NCAA Division I.

Willochell is a two-time PIAA Class AAA placewinner. He finished sixth in 2018 and fourth in ’19.
In the WPIAL tournament, he placed third in 2018 and second in ’19.
He went 35-6 in 2019 and is 97-26 in his career.
