With rain in the forecast and its home field still muddy from recent wet weather, Ligonier Valley will move Friday’s home football playoff game from Weller Field to Greensburg Salem’s Offutt Field.
Ligonier Valley (10-0) is set to host Marion Center (5-5) as the Rams begin their quest for a third straight District 6 title.
Kickoff is 7 p.m.
Jeannette also will forego home-field advantage Friday night due to poor playing conditions at McKee Stadium.
The Jayhawks (10-0), top-seeded in Class A, will play Monessen (7-2) at 7:30 at Hempfield’s Spartan Stadium.
Derry (9-1) has a home game on its natural grass field Friday against Central Valley (5-5). Derry athletic director Brett Miller said Trojan Stadium is in good shape “as of today.”
