It was a rough week to be No. 1 in the state as four of the six top-ranked teams in the weekly Trib HSSN state baseball rankings got bounced from their perch.

Garnet Valley in Class 6A, Archbishop Carroll in 5A, Lower Moreland in 4A and Montoursville in 3A all lost at least once and fell down the ladder but remained in the top five.

Wilmington in 2A and Vincentian Academy in A survived the top-ranked shuffle and remain No. 1.

Other significant changes included:

Penn-Trafford made a long-anticipated debut in 5A, replacing Neshaminy, while defending 4A champion Ringgold returns to the state rankings at No. 5.
