SOUTH SIDE BEAVER RAMS TIDBITS:

*  Theresa Waxler is in her 5th season as the head coach for the Lady Rams Softball Team.  Her assistant coaches are Bob Harrison & Doug Gates.

*  These 8 seniors have seen much success thru their high school career..  As Freshman in 2009 they won Section with a 12-0 Record and went to the playoffs – As Sophmores in 2010 they finished 9-3 and went to the playoffs – As Juniors they finished 11-1 with a tie for section title and advanced thru playoffs to the first round of state playoffs. A first in school history !

*  Here in 2012, the team is 2-1 in section play, 6-3 overall to date. Coach Waxler says of her team – "They are a determined group of young ladies who set their goals high. They have the experience and knowledge to get the job done."

*  Coach Waxler has coached with this group of ladies since they started playing softball at age 6. She used to coach in the South Side area youth leagues and has had as she says – "the privilege of watching them grow into the wonderful young ladies that they are today".

*  Even though this is a senior laden team, the Rams have a nice mix of juniors, sophomores and a starting freshman left fielder that help the team mesh well together.
