New No. 1 teams highlight Trib HSSN state baseball rankings

The new teams and the exiting squads were limited in the weekly Trib HSSN PIAA baseball rankings, but there was plenty of action on top.
Half of the six classifications have a new No. 1, including West Allegheny in 5A, East Pennsboro in 4A and West Middlesex in Class A.
Other significant changes included:
Only two teams fell out of the PIAA top 5 from a week ago: Pine-Richland in 6A and Selinsgrove in 4A.
That means only two new team’s joined the best in the state — Landisville Hempfield in 6A and Somerset in 4A.
Here are the rankings for the week ending May 10, with overall records through Friday’s games.
