North Allegheny’s Luchini earns All-American honor

North Allegheny senior Josh Luchini was named to the High School Boys Soccer All-America team by the United Soccer Coaches All-America Committee.

The Lehigh commit led North Allegheny with 36 goals and 17 assists, helping propel the Tigers to a second straight WPIAL championship.

Luchini participated in the High School All-American Game in Celebration, Fla., earlier this month. The West team defeated the East, 4-1. It was Luchini who scored the only goal for the East with a marker in the 85th minute. The contest was a showcase of some of the best senior athletes in the country.
