Once a Tiger, always a Tiger?

The Ivy League added another WPIAL football recruit Wednesday when North Allegheny’s Luke Colella committed to Princeton.

The wide receiver and defensive back also listed offers from Central Michigan, Robert Morris, Columbia, Dartmouth, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Sacred Heart.

Colella announced his commitment on Twitter.

His decision came two weeks after Thomas Jefferson’s Mac Duda also committed to Princeton.

Colella led North Allegheny with 14 receptions for 255 yards last season. He scored three touchdowns.

Princeton went 10-0 overall, 7-0 in the conference and won the Ivy League championship last season. The Tigers have three players with WPIAL roots on this fall’s roster: Graham Adomitis of Central Catholic, Andre Guest of Penn-Trafford and Matt Hampson of Pine-Richland.

Colella’s teammate Jake Lugg committed last month to Harvard.
