North Catholic’s Kylee Lewandowski, one of the WPIAL’s top rising seniors, committed Saturday to Richmond.

The 6-foot-1 guard had more than a dozen offers. She chose the Spiders over offers from Bryant, Bucknell, Denver, Fairfield, Fordham, Hartford, Marshall, Miami (Ohio), Niagara, Quinnipiac, Xavier and Western Michigan.

Lewandowski announced her decision in Twitter.

The Trib 10 all-star averaged 15 points and six rebounds last season for North Catholic (26-4), which won its third consecutive WPIAL title and finished as the state Class 4A runner-up.

Richmond in April hired former Bucknell coach Aaron Roussell to take over the women’s basketball program. Roussell has a career record of 312-122.

The Spiders went 9-21 overall last season, 6-10 in the Atlantic 10.
