Tess Myers hit one of the biggest shots in WPIAL girls basketball as a sophomore, and it looks as though she’ll have a shot to play in Division I.

Myers, a junior at North Catholic, received her second Division I offer Monday from Kent State. She earlier received an offer from Niagara.

The 5-foot-10 Myers, a guard, made a shot at the buzzer to defeat Beaver in the WPIAL Class 2A girls basketball championship game in early March and later was named honorable mention all-state.

Myers is a Lower Burrell native and the younger sister of Natalie Myers, a junior on IUP’s women’s basketball team.
