The Foothills Football Classic isn’t the only local football all-star being postponed this season.

The Tri-County Coaches Association game has been canceled because of a lack of interest.

McGuffey football coach and athletic director Ed Dalton said the game is being suspended for one year.

The coaches were having a hard time getting players to commit to play.

Organizers reached out to the Westmoreland County Coaches’ Association to see if they’d be willing to play a game between the associations, but nothing was decided.

The Tri-County Coaches Association draws players from Fayette, Greene and Washington counties.
