Penn Hills linebacker Darrell Mason was added Monday to Pennsylvania’s roster for the Big 33 Football Classic.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Robert Morris commit originally was selected for the East-West All-Star Game but was promoted to the Big 33, Penn Hills coach Jon LeDonne said. Both all-star events are organized by the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association.
Mason will replace Archbishop Wood linebacker Matt Palmer on the Big 33 roster. Eleven WPIAL players were included on the initial roster announced in February.
The game is June 16 at Central Dauphin High School’s Landis Field near Harrisburg.
