Peters Township girls basketball ends perfect season ranked No. 24 nationally

Undefeated record, WPIAL championship, state championship and national ranking.
Peters Township accomplished almost everything a girls basketball team can in one season. The Indians, who went 30-0, finished this season ranked No. 24 nationally in the USA Today Super 25 rankings released this week.
Peters Township was the only Pennsylvania school to appear in the girls rankings.
New Hope Academy of Landover Hills, Md., finished the season ranked No. 1 overall. Miami Country Day was second.
In the boys rankings, PIAA Class 6A champion Kennedy Catholic finished the season ranked 25th nationally. It was the only Pennsylvania team in the boys rankings.
