PIAA 1st-round boys basketball matchups set

With the Path to The Pete in the books, the Road to Hershey is set to begin.

The 2026 PIAA boys basketball playoffs will tip off Friday and Saturday with first-round action.

Thirty-six WPIAL teams, including six freshly minted champions, are set to begin a tough five-round quest for a state championship.

Here are the matchups for the opening round this weekend.
