PIAA announces sites, times for Friday’s girls basketball quarterfinals

The WPIAL champions continue to shine bright in the 2024 PIAA girls basketball state playoffs in Class 6A, 3A and 2A.

However, all of the other District 7 teams have been bounced with one Class 3A exception.

WPIAL runner-up Avonworth is the only district team left in 6A, 3A and 2A that did not win gold at the Petersen Events Center.

The Antelopes join Shady Side Academy in 3A, Norwin in 6A and Greensburg Central Catholic in 2A as the only district teams left heading into the third round on the Road to Hershey on Friday.

Here are all of the 6A, 3A and 2A results from the first two rounds, plus the sites and times for the state quarterfinals.
