Welcome to another edition of “PIHL News and Notes,” your continuing source for all the scholastic hockey happenings you may not hear about on “The PIHL Power Play.” The 2011 All-Star Games are in the books, and we have some bonus coverage on tap. Some players selected to participate are obvious with a cursory glance at the leader board, but what about some of the unsung heroes? Today, we give one player from each team his due with a look at why they were voted in by the league’s coaches.
