Welcome to the Christmas week edition of “PIHL Notebook,” your weekly companion to “The PIHL Power Play” on the MSA Sports Network. The league may be on holiday hiatus, but there is still plenty to report. First up, “Melting the Ice” provides your thermometer of streaking teams around the league at the de facto halfway point of the 2013-14 campaign.
