After dropping the puck on the Class A postseason last week, the rest of the PIHL hockey playoffs kick into full gear this week with quarterfinal games.

A year ago, Seneca Valley in Class 3A, Cathedral Prep in Class 2A and Avonworth in Class A skated away with Penguins Cup championships.

All three are back to defend their titles and try to repeat.

Morgantown won the Division 2 championship in 2025, and the Mohigans are back as the No. 1 seed.
