Plum remains lone unbeaten team in Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Softball League

Plum swept Baldwin in a doubleheader Sunday to remain the lone unbeaten slow-pitch team in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Softball League.

The Mustangs scored a combined 37 runs in the two games against the Highlanders and have outscored their opponents 104-24 through six games.

North Allegheny and Mt. Lebanon split a doubleheader and are tied for second at 4-2. Bethel Park suffered its first loss of the season in a doubleheader split with defending champion Shaler and now is 4-1.

Shaler and Seneca Valley are tied at 3-3 with Montour and West Allegheny knotted up in the standings at 3-1.

West Allegheny, Montour and Seneca Valley each swept doubleheaders on Sunday.

Montour and West Allegheny will meet for a pair of games Thursday.
