The Leechburg girls basketball team made the playoffs with an 8-11 record last season. This year, the Blue Devils want nothing more than to make it back.

Andrew McDermott is heading into his second year coaching a hungry Leechburg boys basketball team. The players, coaches and community are determined to turn the ship around.

Despite both teams coming into the game with just one victory each, a huge crowd at Fox Chapel watched the Foxes (dark jerseys) and Tarentum play on Nov. 7, 1964. Defensive players for the Redcats included Terry Rapsinski (88), Mark Pavlik (72) and Joe Otwell (74) as Tarentum posted a 33-21 victory.
